Everything's A Dream

Although this isn't one of my favourite poems, I'm proud of it. This poem isn't in my POV, it is in one of my character's POV. It's what she was thinking, and how she felt at that time. It's about what she's dreams, and what she wishes could happen.

Everything's a Dream

This is not my first poem, this is one of the many of them, but it's the first I've ever put on this site. I hope you like it, but if you don't, that's your choice. Please review, whether it be good or bad, I except it. I can learn from my mistakes, since no one's perfect.

I want to look up at the sky,

And know everything's alright.

So I could know what's going to happen,

Like I could have foresight.

I want to be able to do anything I want,

And not face the cost.

I might get in trouble though,

Everything might be lost.

I want to be in a fantasy life,

Where everything is great.

But that's not possible,

At any rate.

I want everything to be perfect,

But I know that's not true.

Or maybe if I were younger,

I wouldn't have a clue,

I want to be everlasting,

I want to live forever.

But that won't happen either,

That's a definite 'never'.

I want everyone to be together,

Everyone to be a team.

But that's impossible,

Because everything's a dream.
