"My cold heart screams out one more time, as a part of me breaks inside and I wana know, how you sleep at night." Ashley sang as she sat at her piano. She was suddenly overcome by a strong sadness. Craig had broken her heart beyond repair. And there was nothing in the world she could do about it.

"Ring!" Ashley slowly made her way over to the phone.

"Hello." She greeted in a dull voice.

"Ash, come hang out with me today please." begged Ellie.

"Um, you know what I don't think I can today." replied Ashley.

"You're so full of crap; your sittings at home morning over Craig again aren't you?"

"Ellie I'm just not up to it yet.

"Are you seriously going to sit home alone in the dark all summer?"

"What do you care you can go hang out with Sean or something."

"I don't want to hang out with him today I want to hang out with you.

"Well thats to,"

"Ash, I'm coming over like it or not okay?"

"No please, Ellie are you there?" Ashley slammed down the phone. "Great she hung up."

Ashley slowly inched her way up to her room. She pealed of her pajamas that she had been wearing for a week straight and changed into jeans and a distillers shirt.

"Ding dong." rang the door bell.

Ashley walked down the stair and opened the door.

"Ashley!" Ellie embraced her in a hug. She acted as if she hadn't seen Ashley in years.

"Hey Ellie."

"Well we have a full day ahead of us so come on."

"What do you mean? Let's just hang out here."

"No way, we're going shopping! I haven't been busing at the Dot for the last month to sit and watch T.V. on your couch. Now come on!"

"Whatever, let me go get my wallet."
