Based on the immortality of S.E. Hinton's novel The Outsiders, the continuing popularity of Francis Ford Coppola's 1983 movie adaptation, and the enormous success of the televisions series' pilot episode, we employ Fox to consider releasing The Outsiders fourteen-show series on DVD. Considering that Coppola's movie will soon be released on DVD with over thirty minutes of deleted footage will re-generate the interest of fans of the movie and book, and S.E. Hinton will soon be releasing a new novel, it is prime time to follow in the wake of this publicity with the release of the series. Hinton and The Outsiders has an international following of fans of all ages and social classes; such a DVD set would undoubtedly bring the network a handsome profit.
