Dear All of You Out There in Fanfiction Land,
I am writing a story about what it would be like for an average muggle-born witch to become the princess of a small country in Europe. I am using The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot do this. I will use what she has written in the book and make changes to fit Lily Evan's life in the magical world. I am not taking credit for writing The Princess Diaries. Meg Cabot did that, and I understand it.
Next, I do understand that I will be changing much about Hogwarts and the magical world while I write this story. It is completely AU. It does not follow what happened to Lily in OOTP. I will try my best to keep as true to the Harry Potter series as possible.
Feel free to flame if you must, but you will be wasting both your time and energy writing them, because I shall ignore what I don't consider constructive criticism.
