Wolf's Rain
Main Characters: Cheza, Kiba, Sume, Hige, and Toboe.
Chapter One
The wind howled outside, as lightning and thunder shook the air. The smell of rain was very clear to the four wolves that ran across the plains, followed by a girl with pink hair. Out of the four wolves, the white one was in the lead.
Kiba ran ahead of eveyone, surveying the area for danger. Kiba stopped and waited for the others to catch up. He looked back at Cheza to make sure that she was ok. Then he continued to run across the plain.
Sume, Hige, and Toboe followed Kiba amd Cheza to a small cave were the five of them would be safe from the storm. Kiba and Cheza were the first ones in, followed by Sume, Hige and Toboe, coming up the rear.
Kiba transformed back into his human form.
"We'll be safe in here until the storm passes." he said.
Hige was still in wolf form. He shook his pelt, spraying water on the now human Toboe and Sume.
"Watch were your shaking Hige, your getting me wet!"
Hige just grinned at him.
"Your already are wet Sume.." he said jokingly.
Sume just turned his head away and wipped his face and clothes off. Toboe was sitting against the wall while Cheza was taking off here coat.
"Let me take that..." said Kiba. He took the coat from Cheza and placed it on a twig that had grown on the wall in between a crack. it dripped onto the floor.
"So, what do we do now?" asked Sume. He really wasn't talking to anyone in particular, but thought he might ask anyway.
Kiba and Toboe shrugged at the same time. They didn't know what to do.
"We should stay here." said Cheza. She had her eyes closed, and was leaning against the cave wall on the floor. Kiba sat next to her and nodded. She opened her eyes, but looked at the ground.
"Man, Im hungry..." said Hige.
"Whats new?" said Sume in an unsuprising tone. Hige is always hungry... thought Sume.
"I agree with you for once Hige." said Toboe. His stomach growled, and he gave a goofy grin. Kiba smiled, but said nothing.
Thunder boomed loudly outside, and Toboe jumped three feet in the air, while letting out a small yell. He was shaking badly. I hate thunder and lightning! thought Toboe.
Hige just started to laugh at Toboe and his scaredness. How pathetic... he thought to himself.
"We should get some sleep. We have along dawn ahead of us..." said Sume. He sat on the ground, waiting for the others agreement.
They all agreed with Sume and turned into their wolf forms, while curling up around Cheza, who was in the middle. Only Toboe was still in his human form. He looked outside and had a scared look on his face, but he soon shifted and curled up, falling asleep shortly after that.
