I come and go like the wind blending with shadows and darkness. I'm a loner, a renegade. I need no one, but she does. I love her but I will never tell her, at least not to her face while she wakes. I will never tell her we are siblings no matter how much the others pressure me.
She deserves someone better.
I have stolen and killed until my hands were stained red with blood. I've lied and cheated almost always for my own gain. And even if she knew of all the things I've done, she would still care for me. Not because I'm her brother, but because of the kindness in her heart. She would forgive my sins because of her innocence.
I don't deserve forgiveness from anyone, especially her.
I lost my innocence the day I was born she'll keep her's forever. She is the only person I can ever truly care for, but I will not taint her with my stained hands. So this is how I live, alone and in darkness.
It is my fate, my punishment.
