All around me is black. The Kren have defeated Voyager. It is too damaged to fly. Captain Janeway has ordered us to land on a nearby-uninhabited planet away from their space. I am in the mess hall where the Captain is speaking to the rest of the crew and giving the new jobs, well most of them. I look around at the crew that is left. Some have cuts, bruises, burns and worse. I see Harry, Tom, Tuvok, The Doctor but I don't see many other senior staff. Were they killed as well? There were so many killed, 75 or more, god so many. I spot the others and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. The captain has stopped speaking and she leaves. I should go after her but I have other jobs to attend to, like creating shelters. Voyager has no power so it will be cold. I start to build shelters with others of the crew; I wonder where Kathryn has gone.
