Monday, G&T
So, here I am, sitting in G&T. Although, I don't know why. I'm not gifted or talented. Oh well, it's better than gym. I was looking over my new schedule (I have a new schedule because tomorrow is the first day of the new semester).
Anyway, so, Michael comes over to me.
"Let's compare classes," he said.
"Um, OK," I'm such an idiot.
"Great!" he said, looking at my schedule. "We both have G&T! And B lunch!" Wow, I didn't think that Michael thought is was so great to share classes with me. I mean, Michael Moscovitz wants classes with me. With me. I wish he was my boyfriend. Instead, I'm stuck with Kenny. Not that I don't like Kenny, don't get me wrong, but it's just, I don't like him like a boyfriend. Oh well.
Just my luck. When I finally get to talk to the love of my life, class is dismissed. Better luck tomorrow....
Tuesday, World Civ.
OK, lunch time. That was WAY weird. OK, so, I get there, and go sit by Tina and Shameeka. Like always. Lily isn't here, because she's sick. So, I'd expect Boris to sit on my right (because he's always next to Lily, whose next to me), and my bodyguard, Lars, to my left. But then, Michael came and sat down next to me, in Lily's (or Boris's) place!
"Thanks for the invite, Tina," he said, grinning at me. I looked at Tina, who was doing the same. She's the only one I told about my crush on Lily's brother. She must have invited him to sit with us. I'm so glad she's my friend! I really don't know what I'd do without her. I'd be a loser, that's what. OK, so I guess I do know what I'd do without her.
Anyway, as I began to eat my veggie burger, Kenny appeared on my left.
"Hi, Mia!" he said, so startling that I choked on my pickle. V. embarrassing.
"Oh, um, hi, Kenny," I gagged.
"Hi, Michael," Kenny said effortlessly. I don't think that they like each other...
I think Lars know how I feel about Michael, because then, he (Lars, I mean, not Michael) grunted.
"I think I should sit next to the Princess," Lars said in a 'You are going to move' tone.
"But, why?" Hmm...I wonder if that offended Kenny....
"Because, seeing as it is the beginning of the semester, new students will be joining this lunch group. I do not know all of these students, and I do not know if the Princess will be safe or not. Page 4, section 6 of the Bodyguard Code, simple procedure." Wow, Lars sure knows his stuff.
"Her name is Mia," Kenny said, obviously aware that Lars doesn't want me near him. "And, no one in here will hurt her."
Lars didn't say anything. He just stood. And towered over Kenny by at least 3 feet. So, Kenny slid over, making room for Lars. Weird. But, Kenny still tried to talk to me. He leaned way back in his seat.
"Mia, what are you doing on Friday?" He asked, straining not to fall.
"Um, Princess Lessons, but it's only 5:00, because Grandmére has to set up for some ball or something with the Queen of Denmark." Like he cares. I'm such a freak, why would anyone want to listen to me babble? Especially about my lack of social activity on Friday nights. I might as well be Princess Loser.
"Great! Um, there's this Computer Club party on Friday, at seven. Judith is having an 'End of the Semester' party at her place, for the Computer Club and their dates. You want to go?"
"Um," No. Wait, Michael will be there. But with a date. Probably Judith. I might as well go. "OK,"
Friday, the loft, 6:42
OMIGOD! I am SO glad I found my journal. It turns out that I left it in the limo, it had fallen from the bag and slid under the seat. Kenny will be here soon to pick me up for the party. I decided to wear a blue turtle-neck and jeans, with my hair in a ponytail. I hope it's not a boring party, but Michael will be there, I'll have something to do. Look at him. Oh, there's Kenny.
