Is It Truly Over?
Journey Poem
Two Lost Souls
Strangers to begin with
Then Trusted Friends
Then Lovers
If you saw them, they made
the perfect couple
They have gone through so
many obstacles, one can ask
"Will they ever be happy?"
They given up on each other for another
given the little happiness they had so another
could smile.
Even through this all, they manage to do
what all loved ones do, they married with their
closest friends watching.
Their love was strong, one thought she
could handle the other's life.
In the end, she left, thinking she had
to get out before she got hurt.
While she took comfort in another's man company,
she never forgot the blue eyes who stared at her with
love.
They started to re-new their journey,knowing that love was
enough for them to survive.
Tragically, the journey ended when one's betrayal caused her everything
she loved and cared.
With one last kiss, they prepared to started a new journey, just not with one another.
A lie is tearning them back together, even through they want to be together, a bet stands in there way.
Now, even as they finally move on from one another, the one question on their minds is....
"Is it truly over?"
