AN -Hey everyone! Welcome to my first Onepiece story!!!!! I was looking around the Onepiece section in and saw that it needed a story with a new character so I thought why not write a story about myself in the Onepiece world. So here goes and I hope you enjoy! Review please too!
P.S. I don't know much about Nico Robin or any of the other story arcs so I will appreciate any help. Thank you!
Chapter One: Arrival! :A New Crew Mate
I sighed. Breathing in the smell of the ocean. 'Nothing to do except listen to the old men playing shuffle board.' You see my dad thought it would be fun to take a family cruise. Turns out we were the only family with kids under twenty. So all I had was my ten year old brother to hang out with.
But that wasn't going to stop me from having a good time. It was my first time going on a cruise. So to get into the sea adventure spirit, I brought along my newly purchased Onepiece graphic novels. I had just finished reading the part when Vivi left the Straw Hat Crew.
I flipped through my Japanese-English dictionary. I stopped at the S section. 'Storm: arashi' Suddenly a strong gust of wind hit me. It took all I had to hang on to the railing and shove the pocket dictionary into my pocket.
The water became choppy and the sky darkened. The thunder boomed. The captain shouted for everyone to get inside. I turned around and tried to make my way back. Just then lightning struck the boat and threw me into the water. It took all my strength to fight the waves and stay up. I knew I wouldn't last. So I grabbed the closes thing flouting and hung on.
Usopp plucked at his sling shot string, sending an invisible pellet into the sea. Nothing exciting had happened today.
" Huh. Looks like a storm happened up ahead." Usopp jumped.
"Nami? When did you get here?" Nami gave Usopp a look that clearly read "You idiot." Then she noticed something in the water.
" What's that?" She said then pointed. Usopp followed her finger. There was a girl in the water, holding on to a piece of wood.
I could feel the rocking of the ship even if I wasn't quite awake. Any minute Mom's going to come in and tell me to get up. ' Might as well get up.' I opened my eyes. I wasn't in my room on the ship. The realization hit me like a ton of bricks. I bolted upright.
"Oh!" I yelped as I clung to my aching head.
"Better lay down." I turned and sitting next to me was a red haired girl. IT WAS NAMI! " Here, put this on your head." Nami then handed me a damp cloth that reeked of, Kami-samma knows what.
"It stinks!" Nami laughed.
" Yeah, but it clears your head fast. You rest and tomorrow we'll try to get you back where you came from."
"Thanks." So with that I layed down with the rag on my head and fell asleep.
