Another Short Funny Fruits Basket Fic

Hatori was driving his car when it happened. He could have been on an errand for Akito or was on his way to Shigure's house or just out for a drive. Whatever the reason, he was in his car driving when he hit something. He immediately stopped the car once he felt something hit his car.
As a doctor, Hatori felt a horror creep into his bones. It would not be good for him to kill someone, even by accident. Fortunately as a doctor, he knew what to do. After taking out the first aid kit from under his seat and making sure he had his cell phone in case he needed an ambulance, he got out of his car.
He was shocked to find a girl, about ten years old, on the ground. To his relief the girl was not bleeding or unconscious. In fact the girl was in a sitting position looking at her right. He saw that there was a plastic bag near her. Outside the bag there was a goldfish. It looked pretty dead.
"I apologize about your fish! I'll get you another fish as soon as I can! Just tell me where you live and I'll have it sent to you!" Hatori said to her, hoping to cover for her loss.
The girl at first said nothing. She then got up and looked at him. The Sohma doctor waited for a response. She then smiled.
"Thank you!" she said. She then opened her arms. Before Hatori could push her away or try to move away, she leaped up and hugged him.
POOF! The girl was stunned to find herself hugging air the next second. She looked down and saw what looks like a seahorse on his clothes. She blinked, not knowing what to think. All of a sudden she smiled again.
"New fish!" the girl said. She then picked up the seahorse and put it in the plastic bag. Fortunately there was enough water in the bag to make the seahorse swim in it.
"New fish!" the girl said again. She then went on her way to her home, which was actually close by.
And no one heard of Hatori Sohma ever again.
Okay, I am kidding about the last part. Hatori did manage to escape but let's just say that Hatori is more careful driving now since then. I really enjoyed writing this. It was a bit longer than my first Fruits Basket fic ("The Funniest Shortest Fruits Basket Fic Ever"- go to my profile page if you haven't read it yet) but I didn't claim this fic to top it off.
