Chapter 11
Around the world, cataclysmic events were occuring. Volcanoes erupting, tornadoes, hurricanes, electrical thunderstorms, earthquakes, floods, and torrents of rain. All this was happening, but only one tragedy occured that Hiei wished never happened. The world was falling apart and he didn't give a damn. He had just lost the one thing that meant the world to him. He held Akari's lifeless body tightly to his as if it would bring her back to life. Yusuke and the others arrived on the roof and ran up to Hiei and were shocked and saddened by what they saw.
Their friend, Hiei, on his knees clutching Akari's body to his and crying his heart out. The twins went to their father and mother and fell to their knees.
"Mama?" Dante asked softly.
Hiei looked up to realize his children were in front of him looking at their dead mother. He didn't know what to do.
"Mama?" Bijin touched her mother's face, only to feel it was icy cold. She snatched her hand back with a gasp, shaking her head.
"No, no, no, no! Mama!" Bijin threw herself at her mother's body and sobbed into her chest, murmuring for her to come back.
Dante was shaking, his hands clenched into fist so tightly that his nails digging into his palms causing them to bleed. But, he didn't feel it. His mother was gone. He refused to cry. He was the eldest and he had to be strong, but in the end, he burst into tears along with his sister and father. Hiei gathered his children into his arms as best he could while still holding Akari. They were so grief stricken, it was heartbreaking to watch.
Yusuke turned to Kei with rage and sadness he never felt before. He always felt connected to Akari, a powerful bond between the two of them. Now, it was gone, like it never existed. Only one thing was on Yusuke's mind now. Vengence.

"If anyone kills this son of a bitch, it will be me." Hiei said looking up to reveal glowing red eyes full of rage, fury, and sadness.
"You took away the one person alive that I truly loved all because the world isn't the way you want or like it to be? You have no right to make that decision. You had no right to condemn every living thing in this world to death and you had no right to take my light away. I will tell you what right you do have. The right to DIE!!!!!" Hiei said then preceeded to beat the living shit out of Kei.
As the others watched Hiei fight, the twins' attention was still on their mother's body. They couldn't believe she was gone. She was everything to them.

The twins quickly stood up.
"Kuwabara, stay with mama. We're gonna put an end to this." Dante told him as he and his sister ran to the right side of the roof which was the closest to the orb.

"Ensatsu-Raito-Ryu-Ha!!" Bijin yelled.
A black and white dragon emerged from their hands, the dragons target: the orb. The dragons collided with the orb and was pushing against it, trying to break through to the inside. Yusuke and Kurama saw the twins.
"Dante! Bijin! What are you doing?!" Yusuke called out to them.
Without turning around, Dante answered him.
"What needs to be done to save the world and mama! Her soul is trapped inside that thing and she needs us and papa to destroy the orb to free her and stop the Cleansing!"
Hiei was choking Kei when he saw the two dragons appear. He loosened his grip on Kei's throat as he attention was being held by the spectacle in the sky. Kei took this opportunity to removed the dagger hidden in his robe and prepared to attack Hiei while his attention was elsewhere.

"You heard her didn't you, papa?" Dante said without taking his eyes from his and his sister's dragons trying to pierce the orb.
"She alive, papa. Mama's alive. You have to help us. Mama says only all three of our dragons can save her and the world." Bijin said glancing at her father.
Hiei looked at them then, looked up at the orb the dragons were attacking.
'Hiei-chan.'
Hiei gasped softly and tears clouded his eyes.
'A-A-Akari?' He metally replied.
'Yes, my love. Its me. Please help our children.' She replied with love in her voice.
Tears slid down his face when he nodded. He held out his hand towards the orb and concentrated almost all his strength into his attack.
"Ensatsu-Koku-Ryu-Ha!!!!" He yelled as his dragon emerged and joined the two other dragons in their onslaught on the orb.
Inside the orb, the ghostly figure of Akari floated inside being held in place by ropes of light. She felt the dragons trying to get through, but it was not enough. Akari closed her eyes.
'There must be something I can do to help?' Akari said to herself, trying to think.
'That's it! Since the twins and Hiei-chan are attacking from the outside, I'll attack from within with my dragon. I don't know what will happen to me by doing this, but I can't let everyone I love die. I won't.'
Akari closed her eyes and concentrated as she struggled to stretch her arm out. Her eyes snapped opened.
'Ensatsu-Raito-Ryu-Ha!!!'
A white dragon emerged from her hand and collided with the wall in front of her where she sensed the other dragons were attacking.
Outside, a chain reaction was occuring. The orb began to resonate slowly then began to speed up.
"Look! Its working!" Yusuke shouted over the noise.
The orb continued to resonate faster and faster until it exploded in a brilliant flash of light. Our heroes shielded their eyes and waiting for the glare to fade. As it did, the tornadoes vanished, the earthquakes and volcanoes stopped, the hurricanes and lightening storms stopped as well. Soon, the sky was clear again and the sun shone brightly upon the world once more. Birds began to sing and animals came out of their hiding places.
But, on the roof of Kei's castle, six people stood around the alter looking at Akari's body after Hiei placed her back there once again, watching for any sign of life. Seconds ticked by and still no movement or response whatsoever from her body. Dante and Bijin began to cry quietly and turned and buried their faces in their father's chest who stood behind them.
"It didn't work, papa. Mama is-is..." Dante couldn't say it.
Hiei tightened his embrace on his children as he stared down at the body unaware of the twinkle approaching the roof of the castle from the sky. Kuwabara looked up and caught sight of the twinkle.
"Huh? What's that?" He asked, turning everyone's attention to the twinkle approaching the roof of the castle as well.
They watched as the tiny, but bright twinkle slowly float past them and landed on Akari's chest, directly above her heart. They looked on in awe as the twinkle began to shimmer and slowly sink into her chest until was fully absorbed. Akari's body glowed for a couple of seconds then stopped.

"Akari?" Hiei asked.
Soon, Akari took a breath and blinked her eyes opened. She saw blurred figures above her, but she automatically knew who they were as her vision began to clear. She smiled at her family.

Everyone smiled and rushed to embrace Akari at once. She was alive and the world was safe.
Back at the newly restored castle and southern kingdom, Akari used the Orb of Life to restore the lives of the people that died during the Cleansing and healed the planet as well, a huge celebration was going on. Once things settled down, the people returned and rejoiced at the restoration of the southern kingdom and the return of their queen. The celebration lasted all day and continued on late into the night.
Our heroes enjoyed themselves fully. They played all the games that were set up in the marketplace, stuffed themselves on all the food that was serve, laughing, dancing, and talking with the villagers before leaving the marketplace to return to the castle for a little private time for themselves.

Akari was dressed a snow white, form-fitting, strapless wedding dress with tiny diamonds embedded in the dress and detachable 10 foot train. Her hair was a done in curls and pinned up with her diamond tiara with a detachable veil that covered her face. She also carried a blue and white rose bouquet. She was absolutely beautiful with an equally handsome man walking with her. Hiei and Akari began to walk towards the entrance of the marketplace amongst the well-wishers throwing rice and colorful confetti, to the horse drawn carriage that waited to take them to their summer home in the western lands for their honeymoon. They arrived at the carriage and Akari threw her bouquet over her head and Bijin caught it. Everyone applauded. Akari and Hiei hugged their children, Yusuke, Kurama, Botan, Koenma, Yukina, Shizuru and Kuwabara telling them that they will be back in a week and climbed inside the carriage and off they went.
Epilogue
Two months later at the park in Yusuke's dimension, Kuwabara, Kurama, Botan, Koenma, Yusuke, Shizuru, and Yukina are set up for a picnic and are waiting for their guests to arrive.
"Hello, everyone!" a familiar female voice called out.

Hiei turned in time to avoid the downward thrust of the dagger and sliced Kei in half using his Jaou Ensatsu Ken. He spit on the burning corpse and ran over to where his children were.
"You heard her didn't you, papa?" Dante said without taking his eyes from his and his sister's dragons trying to pierce the orb.
"She alive, papa. Mama's alive. You have to help us. Mama says only all three of our dragons can save her and the world." Bijin said glancing at her father.
Hiei looked at them then, looked up at the orb the dragons were attacking.
'Hiei-chan.'
Hiei gasped softly and tears clouded his eyes.
'A-A-Akari?' He metally replied.
'Yes, my love. Its me. Please help our children.' She replied with love in her voice.
Tears slid down his face when he nodded. He held out his hand towards the orb and concentrated almost all his strength into his attack.
"Ensatsu-Koku-Ryu-Ha!!!!" He yelled as his dragon emerged and joined the two other dragons in their onslaught on the orb.
Inside the orb, the ghostly figure of Akari floated inside being held in place by ropes of light. She felt the dragons trying to get through, but it was not enough. Akari closed her eyes.
'There must be something I can do to help?' Akari said to herself, trying to think.
'That's it! Since the twins and Hiei-chan are attacking from the outside, I'll attack from within with my dragon. I don't know what will happen to me by doing this, but I can't let everyone I love die. I won't.'
Akari closed her eyes and concentrated as she struggled to stretch her arm out. Her eyes snapped opened.
'Ensatsu-Raito-Ryu-Ha!!!'
A white dragon emerged from her hand and collided with the wall in front of her where she sensed the other dragons were attacking.
Outside, a chain reaction was occuring. The orb began to resonate slowly then began to speed up.
"Look! Its working!" Yusuke shouted over the noise.
The orb continued to resonate faster and faster until it exploded in a brilliant flash of light. Our heroes shielded their eyes and waiting for the glare to fade. As it did, the tornadoes vanished, the earthquakes and volcanoes stopped, the hurricanes and lightening storms stopped as well. Soon, the sky was clear again and the sun shone brightly upon the world once more. Birds began to sing and animals came out of their hiding places.
But, on the roof of Kei's castle, six people stood around the alter looking at Akari's body after Hiei placed her back there once again, watching for any sign of life. Seconds ticked by and still no movement or response whatsoever from her body. Dante and Bijin began to cry quietly and turned and buried their faces in their father's chest who stood behind them.
"It didn't work, papa. Mama is-is..." Dante couldn't say it.

Kuwabara was wearing a white tux with blue vest and bow tie and he was smiling proudly, escorting his friend and the queen down the aisle.

Hiei and Akari began to walk towards the entrance of the marketplace amongst the well-wishers throwing rice and colorful confetti, to the horse drawn carriage that waited to take them to their summer home in the western lands for their honeymoon. They arrived at the carriage and Akari threw her bouquet over her head and Bijin caught it. Everyone applauded. Akari and Hiei hugged their children, Yusuke, Kurama, Botan, Koenma, Yukina, Shizuru and Kuwabara telling them that they will be back in a week and climbed inside the carriage and off they went.
Epilogue
Two months later at the park in Yusuke's dimension, Kuwabara, Kurama, Botan, Koenma, Yusuke, Shizuru, and Yukina are set up for a picnic and are waiting for their guests to arrive.
"Hello, everyone!" a familiar female voice called out.
