I'd like to thank every single one of you for reviewing; I have read them all and taken them all to heart (even those asking for Inu/Kik; you're permitted your own opinons, of course, and I won't force mine on you or hate you for them)
Most notably, I'd like to thank Heather for her faithful reviews; it's wonderful to see a reviewer's progressive reaction to each chapter. Many thanks to Purity-Starz for the moral support! And not to mention my newest reviewer, Hush Puppie; I'm thrilled you're enjoying the story - for the same reason as I appreciate Heather, but also for your extreme support. May I just point out something, though? Your chapter one review was wonderful, but according to Merriam-Webster's Online dictionary, 'haughty' means to be "blantantly or disdainfully proud." There is a difference between pride and conceit; Kagome is VERY proud in this fic, particularly when it comes to her rights as a human being, rather than a woman. She is a character to not be controlled by anyone... for now - Oops!! Did I just give something away?!?! BAD ME!!!!Finally, I'd like to send my biggest thanks to Pooh again. You're comments are greatly valued and heavily taken into consideration. I apologize that some of my more... intimate parts have you feeling squirmish; apparently your view of intimacy and mine forks here. However, you have nothing to fear.
As much as I can will hint at delicate matters like sex and lemon, I will not go as far as to write in detail. Those little parts are to satisfy, to some extent, the readers who are more in touch with sexuality as an all right topic for writing. There may be implications of 'the night before' later on, but I will never go into detail: it'll probably be more of a cliff-hanger with a scene change to the morning of something. As much as I believe sexuality is not something to be frowned upon or pushed aside (for it is a primary neccessity as animals; it's a reason why we're here, to procreate), I believe it has limits that should be set, for there is nothing more intimate or more private. I believe that everything has its place, and there is not a place for hentai in this fic.
But, I will reserve a right to write more intimate stories separately, if I ever feel inclined to do so, and those stories I will rate appropriately.
I am not here to offend or preach or push anyone; I am here to inform my readers about the world from my point of view, through the use of fiction. I don't write a story to just write; I want to make everyone who reads it learn a little something, whether it be about the world, themselves, or me.
My stories are my children: I learn from them, express myself through them, and I want to give them to all of you.
