Inuyahsa Except In A Human World

Kagome roamed through her new house. As she reached the stairs her mother yelled at her to help her in the kitchen. She slumped then started trudging toward the kitchen. She mad a left a SMACK ran into a big oak door.

"Ow," she mumbled, rubbing her forehead.

"Kagome!" she heard her mom shout.

"Coming, Mom," she yelled back and made a mental note to check out the oak door when she had time.

FAST FORWARD

Kagome threw herself onto her bed and sighed.

"Tomorrow I get to go to a new school. Hurray," she said sarcastically.

She stood up and went over to where her window was and gazed out onto the street. She suddenly saw a boy with bleach blonde hair walking up and down the street bouncing a basketball.

She raced toward the front door and went out to the curb and flopped down and waited for him to come back.

After a few minutes he passed by and glanced at her then did a double take. Then he backed up and stared at her

"What?" she asked, tilting her head, "Do you gotta problem?"

"No, it's just, I've never seen you before," he said.

"Duh, I just moved here smart one," she said, rolling her eyes.

"Well, sorrrrry," he said, getting angry.

"No problem. So, how long have you lived here?" she asked, tilting her head again as she examined him. He had short, spiky, bleach blonde hair, deep, mysterious, golden eyes, and a deep, cultivating voice that makes her want to make him keep talking.

"All my life, practically," he said, noticing she was staring at him like he was some science experiment.

"Really? What's it like?" she asked, wanting him to talk more.

As he kept talking to her, Kagome kept staring. He examined her and saw she had pools of blue and shoulder-length, raven black hair. Her eyes always had excitement in them. Her voice was enchanting.

Everytime she talked he got a bubbly feeling inside. The feeling was unfamiliar to him. He had never felt this way about a girl before. But he could tell she was something else.

"So at this school of your is there any archery?" she asked out of the blue.

"Uh...yeah and there's fencing. I'm in that," he said, wondering why she had asked.

"Cool. I'm good with a bow and arrow," she boasted.

"Cool I guess," he said.

"Kagome! We need you!" He heard a shrill voice, screaming for Kagome.

"Oh, I better go, that's my mom," she looked back at her house, "Bye."

"See ya," he said.

She got up and hugged him then left. He stood there, stunned then started toward his house. Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad after all.
