A Link to the Present
A/N: This fan fic is about Link and how he gets trapped in a time warp and comes to the present time. I do not own The Legends of Zelda and this story probably won't be that good. Comments please but go easy on them...this is going to probably suck.
Link was in Hyrule's forest going to visit the Great Deku Tree, or at least what was left of it. When he and Navi got there, they were both surprised at what they saw. "What is it?" Link asked.
"I don't know" Navi answered. "It's just like a black hole only in the ground."
"That's what it looks like." Link walked a few steps closer, but they were both about a hundred feet away. Then all of a sudden the ground started to shake and before they knew it, they both were up in the air and being tossed into the black hole.
Hours later Link and Navi found themselves lying on a beach. Link got woken up by some strange little girl poking him. "Hey...kid" She kept poking. "What's up with all the funny clothes, this is a beach not Halloween!"
Link looked up at her and screamed. "WHO ARE YOU!?" then he looked around. "WHERE AM I?! NAVI, WHERE ARE WE!?" The little girl screamed too and ran away into the rest rooms. Navi just floated around Link's head and said "I have no idea Link, but I don't like it here. Such strange people, with strange clothes," Navi then sees a young girl about 16 in a bikini "LOOK SHE'S PRACTICALLY NAKED! Princess Zelda is way much better than she is! She wears proper dresses and such."
"Navi just calm down" Link tried to settle the fairy down, she was getting to annoy him even more. "Let's go find something to eat." So Link and Navi set off to go find a nice chicken or turkey somewhere, what they found didn't work out too well. "Look!" Link pointed up in the sky. "That is some weird looking turkey! Don't you think so too Navi?"
"Yeah Link, that is one ugly bird!" Link drew out his sword and started waving it in the air "Come here you stupid turkey!" What the two didn't know is everyone on the beach was watching them, moments later a strange man with red shorts and no shirt on came up to them.
"What the hell are you doing!?" The man yelled about 3 yards way.
Link just stared at him. "Killing this here turkey, I need some lunch!" Link countered back.
"Well stop you dim wit!" The man said again. "You have to point that sword down! You're under arrest little boy! The cops are going to come after you!"
Link stared at him dumbly. "The cops?"
"I think he means something like guards Link" Navi whispered in his ear.
After more time yelling and cursing at Link the life guard for the cops. They came in their police cars and those things scared the two shitless. "WHA?" Link said when he saw the cop car coming closer. "NAVI RUN!" He screamed as he ran for his life, after about an hour of running he noticed he had left his sword on the beach. "Dang...I left my sword. Navi we got to get back to Hyrule."
"But how?" The pink light of puff asked.
"I don't know, but we need to find a way."
