In the Beggining, after the land was cast into chaos, and the gods forever sealed away the land of Hyrule. The Deku Tree sealed away his domain. And rose it above the waters with his children and the Lost Woods. Though the Deku Tree's power was not great enough to raise some parts of the woods above the oceans. Turning the Lost Woods and the Deku Tree's shrine into seperate islands. Where they then adapted over the many years to suit there new enviroments. The Deku Tree also grew from his seedling form to the form we now know. The Kokoris' also changed their forms so they could travel over the seas to the many islands.
