Los Angeles 1988
Angel had just caught a rat after a short chase down the alley and was preparing to feed on it when someone tapped him on the back.
"Hey can you fly a helicopter?" A skinny guy in a suit asked.
"Huh," Angel responded as he lowered the rat from his mouth.
"Never mind," the man said as he caught sight of some joggers on the cross street and took off after them.
"Wonder what that guy's hurry was," Angel thought as he finally munched on the rat. "Its not like the world's going to end or anything."

Of course in the film the world does end (or least suffer massive nuclear devastation) and the guy Angel was talking to was trying to find a helicopter pilot so he and his girlfriend could get to the airport. If you haven't seen "Miracle Mile" I highly recommend it.
