A whistle rang through the Mexico City Station. "Whoo woo! Whoo woo!" Suncoast looked up from the book she was reading. It was him, Ferro the steam train. Suncoast smiled as he let loose another whistle. She longed to be his coach but didn't dare tell him. Ferro wasn't coupled so that wasn't the issue. However, being the only steamer in a station of diesels was. All the other coaches thought he was old-fashioned and a dreamer. They thought Suncoast should try and find a decent, modern diesel. However, none of the diesels could whistle like Ferro could. His whistle thrilled her.

"Hola Sun!" came a rich, tenor voice suddenly. Suncoast jumped slightly, coming out of her daydream, and blushed at seeing Ferro had come up to her without her knowing. "Sorry," the steamer apologized. "I didn't know I'd surprise you." He then gave a grin that melted the mail car's heart and made her blush even more, the red in her cheeks blending well with her forest green frame. "You...you didn't interrupt..." she insisted putting her book aside. Ferro chuckled slightly. "If you not busy, would you like to go for a ride?" This was a dream come true for Suncoast. She nodded and the steamer turned his couplers to her. Suncoast grabbed hold and with another whistle the two were off to who knew where. The mail car giggled, closing her eyes as she felt the breeze on her face.
