A/N: On every Friday the 13th that I can remember, something out of the ordinary has happened to me. Sometimes it was good, sometimes it was bad, sometimes it was just weird. But always there was something different. I decided to pay homage to that tradition by doing something a little different myself and writing 13 one hundred word fics for Friday the 13th.
The final total came to 5 Inuyasha fics, 5 Fruits Basket fics, and 3 Inuyasha/Escaflowne crossover fics. Below are the collected Escaflowne/Inuyasha fics.

Identity Crisis
(Hitomi/Kagome)

I've visited a world almost unknown to all but those who live there.
I've faced monsters from the depths of my fears and found the worst to be not the beasts, but those who walk as men.
I've found my first love in the form of a brooding boy with issues; including the loss of his parents, a dangerous and estranged one-armed older brother, and a quest fit for an army to tackle.
My greatest pain is the knowledge that someday I'll have to leave all that I've found behind.
My name is Kagome . . .or is it Hitomi?

Misguided Light

Kagome frowned to herself. She had jumped into the well like she had hundreds of times before, but something was different this time. The light had been more blinding than usual, and a brilliant blue rather than the usual soft purple. As she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was a dark-haired boy staring back at her with surprise written all over his face.
"You're not Hitomi!"
Back in Feudal Japan, Inuyasha stared at the well as a sandy-haired girl climbed out of it. Catching sight of him, her eyes widened.
"I don't think I'm on Gaea anymore."

Cats and Dog

Hitomi eyed the silver-haired boy with the floppy ears carefully. When she spoke, however, it was to the schoolgirl in the green skirt who stood beside him. "Your dog boy won't chase my cat girl, will he?" she asked, motioning to the sulking Merle in the corner where she had retreated immediately after Van's departure.
"Oh, no! He's much better behaved than he looks," Kagome assured her, patting Inuyasha's arm and smiling like a doting mother. The hanyou huffed in disgust.
"Oh." Hitomi paused and a thoughtful look crossed her expressive face. "Would he do it if I paid him?"
