Miranda lie face down on her bed; crying into her pillow. She had just been rejected by the love of her life...again.
"Why does this always seem to happen to me?" she thought. Ever since she was a little girl, love had always left her out in the cold. And everytime, the outcome was always the same: her broken heart.
She finally sat up and wiped her tears. She went over to her dresser. There sat a picture in an oak frame. The picture was of the boy she had loved and maybe even still loved. She picked up the picture and stared into his beautiful hazel green eyes. But slammed down the frame after realizing that it was he who had broken her heart.
