Tohru's point of view

"I'm sorry Tohru, but I don't think we should go out." Kyo said as I stood there with his back facing me... My heart was breaking with every moment that he stood there.

If you leave where will you go?
Before the regret you hold in your heart will start to show...
If you leave how will you know?
If our ever after ever had a chance to grow!

"Why, Kyo... I really like you... do you not like me anymore..." But before I started to rambling on, he stopped me.

Do you dream or do you sleep?
Do you pick and choose amongst the jewels for one to keep?
Do you wish upon a star?
Or does everything just out of reach seem just too far away?

"No, Tohru, it's not that... I just have a lot on my mind and it's unfair to you.." he had turned around to face me and he showed no expression.

When your so far away...

"How is it unfair when I feel safe with you... I really like you, Kyo!!!" He just started at me and before I could go up to him, he turned away. I tried to stop him, but it was to later, he was out the door and into the woods.... I didn't want to see him leave... I fell to the floor and wished it was a horrible dream... But it wasn't and I cried and wondered what I did wrong...

That no matter where you go it all ends up the same!

I knew that the next day was going to be tough and my friends will try to cheer me up but they will not be able to... I care about him too much... They may blame him, yet, somehow I know it was both of our faults.... and when I see him at school, I will put on a brave face and talk to him like none of it ever really happened... But inside I will just wish that he could be there and prove that he really did actually like me too...
