A/N: Well, here is another fic. Don't worry, I will finish "Why Now?" I am having a bit of writer's block. I will prolly update as soon as I finish with the story, that way I can tell you how many chapters I have. Ok, now, this song most of you have never heard because it is a Christian song. It is my favorite song and I think I might have got the whole song fic thing down. Though, I think it sucks, but let me know what you think.

Never Alone

Inuyasha stood by the well and looked in. 'Where are you, Kagome?'

I waited for you today

But you didn't show

No no no

He needed her. He loved her. Inuyasha couldn't live without Kagome.

I needed you today

So where did you go?

He climbed a tree and sat on a branch. Kagome said she would be back, but where was she?

You told me to call

Said you'd be there

And though I haven't seen you

Are you still there?

"Where are you, Kagome?" Inuyasha yelled. All he heard was silence. Inuyasha was so used to having Kagome by his side. His mind wondered off to all those times he had put Kagome in Danger. There were so many. Tsubaki, Naraku, even Kikyo. But even though she was gone, he could still feel her presence.

I cried out with no reply

And I can't feel you by my side

So I'll hold tight to what I know

You're here and I'm never alone

Even though she wasn't back yet, he knew she was coming back. He didn't know why he knew Kagome was coming back. Maybe because she always came back. Inuyasha was looking forward to seeing her.

And though I cannot see you

And I can't explain why

Such a deep, deep reassurance

You've placed in my life

He turned his head to look at the village. Inuyasha didn't notice a blue light coming from the well. Kagome climbed out of the well and saw Inuyasha.

"Hi, Inuyasha!" Kagome called. Inuyasha looked over and smiled. He jumped down and gave Kagome a hug.

We cannot separate

'Cause you are part of me

And though you're invisible

I'll trust the unseen

He let go of Kagome and said, "I missed you."

Inuyasha woke with a start. It seemed so real.

"Oh, Kagome, please come back!" he called out, pain evident in his voice. Kagome has been gone for too long. Inuyasha had forgotten what it felt like to have Kagome by his side. But the memories he had of her were going through his mind. Inuyahsa looked up at the sky and didn't notice a blue light shining from the well. (A/N: It is NOT dream this time.) Kagome climbed up and looked up at Inuyasha. She smiled. Inuyasha was waiting for her. He looked down and saw Kagome looking up at him with a smile.

I cried out with no reply

Inuyasha jumped down and looked at Kagome. She looked even prettier than the day she left. Inuyasha pulled Kagome into a hug.

"I am glad you are back."

"I told you I would be back, Inuyasha," Kagome said, smiling. She broke apart from Inuyasha and grabbed his hand.

"Come on," she said. "Let's go."
