The next morning, Harry felt better already. The vow which he had made yesterday, made things clear to him. He now knew what his objective was. And he knew to get it; he could not be alone.
Harry went down to eat breakfast. He was not amused at the sight of breakfast, which was only dry bread and tea. He was feeling hungry after a long time.
"Isn't there anything else I can eat?" asked Harry to his Aunt Petunia.
Suddenly, the whole of the Dursley house became quiet.
"How...How" spluttered Uncle Vernon. "How DARE you criticize our food, boy!! We are giving you this out of the kindness of your hearts!! How DARE you!!"
Harry felt his familiar hot temper creeping. But, he had learnt to control it the last year. So he did the next best thing.
"ALL RIGHT" he said in a curt, snappy voice. "I don't want to eat your food. I'm going outside to eat."
So saying, he slammed the door and went out. He knew he had some money in his pocket. And he hoped he could buy at least a hot dog or two.
Suddenly he came upon a hot dog stall. Going up to it, he decided to order two hotdogs.
"Sure" smiled the owner and started preparing the hot dogs.
Harry waited for a while before he got the hot dogs. He put some sauce in them and put it very close to his mouth.
Then suddenly, with full force, he threw the hot dog at the owner!
