Merry and Pippin
A pint to drink
And some food to eat
Will satisfy
These little people.
They don't worry
About the trials
That await them in
A tall man's world.
They laugh and drink
For health and smile
And then they eat
Until they're pleased.
Oh! Let them eat
And drink their fill
Because tomorrow
Won't be so carefree.
