Author's note: this is my first real fic so I hope you like it the pairings pretty obvious tell me if the characters get a little ooc i tend to do that sometimes

Lucas looked over at his groomsmen Keith and Jake and his best man ,his younger half brother Nathan , at all the people in the church all his friends and his mother Karen at Deb his father's last wife thou she had become more like a second mother to him in the recent years. After Dan's death she worked full time as Karen's partner. He couldn't believe how fast everything had happened, almost too fast. He felt like just yesterday he had asked Peyton to be his wife and now they were getting married. Te twenty year old was still unsure about whether getting married so young was a good idea. Although Nathan and Haley got married at seventeen they hadn't gone through the troubles He and Peyton had.

Nathan noticed the nervous look on his brother's face and nudged him whispering to him that everything would be just fine soon enough. Luke understood what he meant or at least thought he did

Meanwhile back in the bridal room Peyton stood looking in the mirror as she talked to her friends about how nervous she was about the wedding. Haley said something that she didn't hear as she looked at her something borrowed around her neck. She still remembered the day Lucas gave it to her.

Flashback

Lucas and Peyton are lying on a couch after a romantic dinner.

"Can this night get any better?" Peyton asks leaning into Luke's arms." It's just about to." He replies as he gets up walking into the bedroom. "Oh its one of those nights is it?" Peyton asks with a smile, "What is it with you Scott boys? You can't take a woman out to dinner without expecting sex?" Lucas laughs "No it's not like that I have a surprise for you." Luke says returning from the bedroom with a Tiffany's bag.

"Oh my god Lucas what is this" Peyton says shocked. "Turn around and close your eyes and you will get a big surprise "Luke says bringing a mirror over to her. "What are you twelve" She says doing as he says. "Are you sure they're closed"

"Yes"

"Really Sure"

"Lucas! "Peyton yells in mock frustration as Lucas opens the bag and pulls out a pearl necklace and places it around her neck."Ok you can open them now" He says as he finishes fastening the necklace.

"Lucas! Oh my god" Peyton says looking in the mirror as her eyes glaze over with tears "Where did you find this? This is my mother's necklace. She wore it at her wedding; I thought it was lost forever." "I know" He says taking her in his arms "I called up your dad a few months ago and we went rummaging in your attic for it. I'm sure she would've wanted you to have it. It's yours now." "Oh Lucas" Peyton says embracing her blond boyfriend tightly "I love you so much".

The two Walk over to the bedroom.

Flashback

He said it was hers but she always thought she was borrowing like when she was a little girl playing dress up. It couldn't be hers until she went though her wedding with it. "Did you hear what I said?" asked Haley as se waved her hand in front of Peyton's face."What?"Peyton said coming out of her glaze. "Your becoming more like Luke more everyday" Haley said laughing, "I said you just have cold feet .Everything will be alright as soon as you walk down the isle."
