The Ballad of Loves Confliction
I want to be with you,
But how can we be?
We are too different,
As you can see.
How can a god be so cruel?
For me to love you.
But for us to never be,
A story of love that will never pull through.
It's as if we are a play,
Written by Shakespeare himself.
Will it become a tragedy?
Or turn out in good health?
For you are my Romeo,
And I your Juliet.
Can we change our destinies?
Or will it play out as the story was set.
As star crossed lovers,
Only time will tell.
Will you wait for me?
At the stroke of the bell?
For we will meet,
In nights safe embrace.
As if we were ashamed,
Of a love that they can not face.
