=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=She had always loved Lyn's hair and the way it fell over her back, the way Lyn would sometimes push strands of it out of her eyes and give her a smile. She even went so far as to envy Lyn's long, thick green hair; it seemed so very beautiful when compared to her own wild lavender hair.
And Lyn's eyes were just as beautiful, greener than grass. She loved just looking into those eyes for any length of time. It didn't matter how long; just being able to look into those beautiful green eyes made everything better.
"Florina?"
Florina didn't know how long it had been now, but Lyn's voice stirred her from her thoughts. "Yes, Lyn?"
"This will sound silly, but I've been wondering something. If I were an animal or something, any kind of non-human being, what do you think I would be?"
Florina took only a moment to think this over before nodding. "A Pegasus. You're wild and free, Lyn, and you don't belong to anyone or anyplace but where the wind takes you."
Lyn smiled at her, and Florina smiled back.
"W-what about me?" she said after a moment. "If I was something different, Lyn, what do you think I would be?"
"You already are something different, Florina," Lyn said, pulling her shorter friend into an embrace.
"I am? Lyn, what do you mean?"
"You're my guardian angel," Lyn said, and brushed Florina's forehead with her lips.
