Written for Challenge100 LJ community's challenge #51, "Slippery When Wet."She woke up with a wet pillow, its cotton drenched in the tears that fell onto it. She slowly pulled the pillow cover off and tossed it gently in her pile of dirty clothes.
After that terrible day, it wasn't uncommon for her to go to sleep crying or wake up upset. But as the weeks passed, it happened less and less. She thought she had started to move on and accept life without her sister.
But then she dreamed of her sister in a terrible Hell dimension, being painfully tortured for eternity.
"It should've been me," she whispered quietly.
