AUTHORE'S NOTE

First of all, let's start off with what I forgot in the last chapter…

Disclaimer: Interdimensional split caused by fan fiction does not belong to me.  It belongs to Huinesoron, author of "ISPCE, Protecting Elves Everywhere!".  He is also the founder of the Interdimensional Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Elves.

Jete, president of the Fan-Girl Conversion Society, and Moon, the vice president, belong to Isilhen, author of "Fangirls Anonymous".

Secondly, reviewer recognition:

Okami Red: Jerry the Chibi Hobbit has no need to cry!  Here is the update.  And yes, I think we all have friends we wish we could sic a real FGCS agent on.  *sigh*  Those poor delusional Fangirls.

Stroodle:  Thank you very much for the 8.5/10!!  I'm glad you like it!

Well, onto the story!

Sure enough, exactly five minutes later there was a knock on Altheia's office door. She still didn't think she was quite prepared for what stood on the other side.  "Come in," she said cautiously.

The door opened.  Behind was the girl accompanied by one of the ACC workers.  The girl stepped in and the worker headed back to the ACC.  Altheia was taken aback by the girl's apparel:  a white t-shirt bearing the words "FARRIE LIVES!" in big, black letters, a short, pink, plaid skirt, and tall pink boots with what had to be at least four-inch heels.  What was it with Fangirls and pink?  That was one thing she would never figure out.

"Well," Altheia said, "Let's just try and get to know each other today, okay dear?"

The girl nodded.

"Okay, now it you will please have a seat, we can begin."

The girl sat down in the chair Altheia motioned to.  They both sat in silence for a while, Altheia trying to gather herself, and the girl trying to take in her surroundings.

"Well," Altheia began nervously, "I'm Altheia.  I'll be your agent for the next few months."

"I'm Galadriarwyn.  I'm the fangirl." The girl said quietly.

"Yes, dear.  Today I'm just going to ask you a few questions that weren't on you application.  Then you can go back to your room at the ACC.  I won't have you for more then thirty minutes."

The girl nodded.  Is that all she can do, nod?  She seems very shy compared to her application, Altheia thought.

"First, let's settle on a nickname.  Or, if you would like, you can tell me your real name."

"Ra…Rachel." The girl said.

Altheia was shocked.  Usually it took weeks, sometimes even months to get a fangirl's real name.  This one had given it to her on the first day.  Maybe this wouldn't be so hard after all.

"Okay, Rachel, tell me, how were you first introduced to 'Lord of the Rings'?"

"Well, one of my friends was a geek, a 'before-the-movies-geek' is what she called herself.  The rest of us all thought it was idiotic.  We couldn't see what was so fascinating about it.  She only got worse as it came time for the movies to come out.  She got a few of us to come with her on the opening night.  I didn't find anything wonderful about it.  It was boring and confusing and the ending was horrible!  It wasn't until after the movie that she told us there were two more.  None of us were thrilled about that.  So…a year later she drags us all back to go see the second one.  I was sitting there, confused and about to go to sleep when he came on the screen."

She said 'he' as if it was the most wonderful word she had ever said.

"He?" Altheia asked, knowing perfectly whom she was talking about.

"Yes," Rachel said, "He.  Faramir.  I knew at once he had to be mine.  I stayed through the credits to find out who the actor was.  David Wenham.  That night I spent hours on the Internet going through pages and pages of pictures of him.  He was so perfect!  I joined on-line fan clubs and message boards.  I bought Faramir t-shirts and pillow and mugs and anything else I could find.  He became my life!  All my time was devoted to him.  I had no time for homework or studying.  My grades began to drop.  My parents took me to counselors and therapists to try and find out what was wrong with me.  They couldn't.  I knew what was wrong with me.  I tried to stop.  I tried to bring my grades up, but I couldn't.  He was an obsession, holding on to me and never letting go."

Wow, Altheia thought, this girl has it bad.  "It says on your application that you write fan fiction.  How did you get introduced to it?"

"My geek friend wrote some, and some of the other girls from the fan clubs and message boards.  When I found out about it, I decided to give it a shot.  I let my friend read the first one.  She wasn't halfway through when she started lecturing me on dimensional split and the horrors a Mary Sue could cause on dimensional split.  I didn't understand any of it.  I kept on writing, I just didn't let her read any of what I wrote after that.

Altheia was afraid of asking her next question.  "And about how many fan fictions would you say you have written?"

"About twenty."

Twenty Mary Sues!  Well, there had been reports of much worse than that.  "And exactly what are your fan fictions about?"  Oh lord, she thought, Did I really just ask that?  I am so stupid!

Rachel paused.  "Well…"

"Never mind," Altheia broke in, "I don't want to know."

"You probably don't."

"So, how is the ACC?  I haven't had much time to drop by and see it."

"The center is actually much nicer than I thought it would be."  Rachel seemed to relax as she answered the question.

"Really?  Do you have a room-mate?"

"No.  Everyone has there own room and bath room."

"How are the rooms?"

"Oh, they're really nice!  A queen-sized bed, a couch, a computer with DSL Internet, and satellite TV with all the channels excluding the porn.  The furniture is very luxurious.  My couch is huge!  And it's covered with this glorious brown corduroy.  My comforter is also corduroy.  We have room-service too."

"Mmmmmmmm…corduroy." Altheia sighed.  "It sounds like they treat you better than they treat us!  How are the bathrooms?"

"They have these huge bathtubs with an assortment of soaps, shampoos, and bubbles.  The showers are separate, with wonderful creams and gels.  The towels are so soft, I've never felt anything like them!"

"You're making me jealous."

"Sorry," Rachel laughed.

"Well, I'll let you go for today.  Go back to your room and I'll call for you tomorrow when I'm ready."

Altheia called for an escort to take her back to the ACC.

Well, she thought, she really doesn't seem that bad.  This might actually be fun!

However, she wasn't prepared for what would happen the next day.

The tension rises!  What will Rachel do?  Review and I'll consider updating next week and letting you know!
