Phaidra: Ah yes!! Spiffy, spiffy, spiffy!!! Glad you found the chappie to be so spiffy!! And when it comes time for your diary entry, you can read it, edit it, add to it, whatever. Same goes to Lotus and Keeper.

isilhen: Don't worry, I won't over use the diary thing, I might put in two or three more, I haven't yet decided exactly how often I'll use them. They are a nice way to bring yourself out of writer's block though!!

XNemesis: Come out of your lurking! Join TORn! And what is an MST? Sorry for my ignorance, I've never heard the term before.

Keeper of Insanity: When you think of the word to describe Rachel, let me know. I'm looking for one myself…I'm finding it quite hard.

xLOTUSx: Have fun with you off-season basketball!! Our soccer coach got us free step aerobics classes for the summer, which is great because otherwise, I would never be able to stay in shape! I have no motivation to exercise, I have to be forced to.

And now for what you're really reading this for…

Chapter 6

Rachel felt her attempt to wear regular clothes had gone quite well. She had enjoyed the surprised look on Altheia's face when she walked into her office wearing a pair of slightly baggy, vintage PLUGG jeans, a simple pink shirt, and black converses. The meeting had gone quite well too. They had a nice talk about guys and why having a boyfriend isn't necessary in order to feel happy and content. Rachel felt Altheia was beginning to make wonderful sense, and thought that perhaps this "agent/counselor" was, in fact, brilliant.

When the meeting was over Altheia called for an escort, as usual. However, some of the escorts hadn't had their fangirlitis vaccines, and the disorder was spreading rapidly. As a result the FGCS was short of escorts, and there had been none available at the time. "Do you know your way around enough to make it back to the ACC?" Altheia asked.

"Sure," Rachel answered.

"You've haven't even been here a week, are you sure?"

"Positive."

"Alright then! Go on, and I'll see you around the same time tomorrow."

"Bye!" Rachel closed the door. Great! She thought as she began walking, Finally some freedom! I've got some time without someone breathing down my neck!

As she walked down the halls, she realized she didn't know the way to the ACC quite as well as she thought she did. She hadn't really paid any attention to where the escorts were leading her. The hall was lined with several doors, some labeled, some unlabeled. She searched the hall three times and never found a door with a label hinting that it led to the ACC. That door was apparently unlabeled.

Rachel walked back to Altheia's office and began to walk back down the hall. When she felt she had walked about the right distance she turned right. The door in front of her was unlabeled. She opened it and walked in.

She found herself in yet another hall. This one had many more doors, all of which were labeled. She walked down the hall and read labels at random. The labels read things such as:

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Book 1

Chapter 4

A Shortcut to the Mushrooms

and:

The Silmarillion

Quenta Silmarillion

Chapter 19

Of Beren and Lúthien

Oh! She thought, that must be the Silly-er-thingy book Lotus was talking about!

Lotus was a fangirl she had talked to a few times in the lobby. She said she had read every one of Tolkien's books. She had told Rachel about "The Silmarillion" a time or two. Rachel had actually found herself interested until she found out Faramir wasn't in it.

Nevertheless, she decided to find a Silmarillion door with an interesting label and look in to see what the room contained. She opened a door labeled:

The Silmarillion

Quenta Silmarillion

Chapter 9

Of the Flight of the Noldor

She looked in and saw an elf, obviously very angry, giving a speech to many other elves. He seemed to be talking about leaving wherever it was they were. Rachel gathered that the leaders of the place had offended him. He talked about farewells, wars, and hatred. She heard him mention the Silly-thingies that the book must have been named after.

The elf finally shut up after swearing something and a lot of other elves swearing the same thing. Then another group of elves tried to calm him down.

Rachel got bored. Who would want to read a book about a bunch of people arguing over a bunch of stupid Silly-thingies? She was about to close the door when a lady-elf began talking very loudly. Maybe this chick will shut them all up and something interesting will happen, Rachel thought, Wait…that elf-chick looks familiar! She walked closer; no one seemed to notice her. Then it hit her, Holy crap!! That's the evil ESP lady from The Lord of the Rings! Galada-something-or-other! I thought the book took place hundreds of thousands of years before The Lord of the Rings. I knew elves lived forever, but I didn't know forever was this long! Oh well, you learn something new every day!

She walked back to the door and left. She yawned and felt her stomach growl. I've got to find the ACC before I die of starvation!

She walked to the hall she had started out in. There, right across from the door she had chosen, was a door clearly labeled "Way to the Applicant Care Center". Feeling like an idiot, she walked to the dining room, made a ham sandwich, and walked back to her room.

As she fell down onto her bed she began to think about what she had discovered. Apparently there were rooms where the chapter from Tolkien's books came to life! That meant there had to be some with Faramir in them! She would have to go back and look for them, but for now, she was tired.

And so, with wonderful visions of seeing Faramir up close and personal, Rachel fell asleep.

End of Chpater 6

YAY!!! School's out! More time to brainstorm! More time to write!

I've got my website up! ourlives1{.}tripod{.}com. Sign the guest book!

I know this chapter was a bit different. I have big plans for this newly discovered hall and it's many wonderful rooms! Review, please!

Whoa! FF.n has changed! They aren't letting me put my asterisks before and after the actual chapter or the little characters I usually put around my screen-name at the end. I'm not sure if I like that...oh well. Maybe I'll email them some complaints.
