xLOTUSx: I wasn't originally planning to have you as a little smarty-pants…but then I was thinking about it, and I think the story needs one, to keep order and stability. So, yeah, I guess the role has been given to you! :-)

isilhen: Rachel has some real tricks up her sleeve…Altheia has no idea what she has coming in the next few chapters!

Chapter 7

Rachel woke up from her nap with her new discovery still on her mind. She couldn't keep it in; she had to tell someone, but who? Altheia would probably have the door to the hall locked. She had talked to a few of the other girls, but she wouldn't call any of them friends. Well, there was Phaidra. She was the closest thing to a friend Rachel had so far. Yes, she would tell Phaidra…tomorrow.

Rachel spent the evening doing nothing in particular. She showered, put on her pjs and played games on the Internet. She even thought of some fan fiction ideas that involved no self-inserted characters as she went to sleep for the night.

She woke up the next morning around 10:00, dressed, and went to the dining hall to see what was available for breakfast. Blegh, cinnamon rolls. She hated cinnamon! So, she got some cheerios, a piece of sausage, and some orange juice. She saw Phaidra at a table.

"Hey, mind if I sit here?" she asked as she approached the table.

"No, not at all," Phaidra replied, smiling.

As she sat down Lotus and another girl came and sat down across from her and Phaidra. Great, she thought, I don't know if I can trust them about the hall or not!

"Hey," Lotus said, somewhat self-consciously

"Hey, Lotus," Rachel replied.

The four girls sat in an awkward silence for a while, each trying to thing of something to say. It was Lotus who broke the silence.

"Um…I'm Lotus Meathiel Leagallow."

"Well, then, um, I'm Phaidra."

"Legolust Ithil of Mirkwood," said the other girl. "My initials also stand for 'Legolas Is Mine'"

"Yes, um…clever," Rachel said with a weak smile. "Rachel Dennings."

"Sooo…" Legolust said, searching for a topic of discussion, "Who are you all here for?"

Phaidra was the first to answer, "Legolas, Glorfindel, Elladan, and Elrohir."

At the mention of Legolas, Legolust had given Phaidra a spiteful glance. Rachel feared a fight might start before breakfast was over. However, the glance was quick and Phaidra seemed not to have noticed.

"Faramir," Rachel said.

"Éomer, mainly, but I also have a thing for Haldir and Elrond," said Lotus.

"Elrond?" Asked the other girls in one shocked voice. "You've got to be kidding!" Legolust added.

"Yes, Elrond, and no, I'm not kidding!" She quickly changed the subject, "Who are your agents? I have Altheia."

"Hey, I've got 'Theia too!" Rachel said.

"I started out with Atlys, but she got so stressed out that they made her an ACC worker and distributed her fangirls to other agents."

"Atlys? With a 'y'?" Phaidra asked.

"Yeah."

"I'm in her hall."

"So am I," Legolust said.

"I'm in Lexia's hall," said Lotus. "Whose are you in, Rachel?"

"Darron's"

"Oh! The cute one!" said Legolust.

"I've got a really hot agent!" said Phaidra.

"Who?" asked Lotus.

"Gaib Ruel," answered Phaidra.

"Oh, him!" Legolust said, "I saw him the other day and nearly passed out!"

Rachel laughed, "They're trying to un-fangirl-ize us, but they surround us with hot employees!"

"Actually," Lotus said slowly, "It's really quite clever. If we think more about the hot employees, we think less about our fandoms."

"Ah-ha!" said Legolust, "It's a trap!"

"Yes, thank you, Paraphrase Girl!" Lotus replied.(1)

Phaidra looked at her watch. "Oh! Five minutes until my ceramics class! I'd better go!"(2)

"Ceramics class?" Rachel asked as Phaidra finished her juice.

Phaidra nodded as she swallowed.

"I didn't know they had classes here!"

"Yes! Sign up sheets in the lobby! Bye, gotta go, hope to see you all again soon!" Phaidra half-yelled as she ran out of the dining hall.

The other three girls soon left as well, each heading her own way: Lotus, to Altheia's office, Legolust, to her room, and Rachel to the lobby to find out more about these classes.

(1)a wonderful line taken from an RotK parody by mollyringwraith. I'm trying to outsmart the URL earser, but it's not letting me. If you would like the link to the parody, let me know and I'll email it to you!

(2)thanks to my mom for the ceramics class idea!

End of Chapter 7

Well, I personally don't have much to say at the end of this chapter. You've all been a wonderful audience! Thanks for wasting your time on me and my effort to write a story!
