Come ride on the winds,
Dragon.
Take up your sword,
Heron King.
Follow the call of the people's cry.
Shining blade,
Flit on air.
Stained bloody red
With bloody tears.
Golden haired stork,
Shadow's bane.
Join in the Dance.
Veil'd death at your side.
Spirit of Warrior
And a lost, forgotten line,
Are quicksilver in your veins.
Channel, Dragon.
Channel to the Void.
Love
Hate
Anger
Peace
Everything and all.
Keep fast from those who seek you.
Your power,
Overwhelming.
Strength, Dragon.
Be strong for the new beginning.
Though you tread the silver line,
Think
Not of who you were.
Courage, Dragon.
Be courageous in
Love's blinding ways.
Strong to face the dark.
Strong to overcome
The Shadow.
He Who Comes With the Dawn.
To unite, then break once more.
Ta'veren.
Center of the Web of Destiny.
Shepherd.
Gentle of heart and fiery of soul.
Chosen One.
Sought by many.
Dragon...
To save the world.. Only to break it once more.
Let the Dragon ride again on the Winds of Time....
Author's notes: This was the first good poem I have ever done. I was sitting down on my porch reading Book 4: The Shadow Rising, when all of a sudden, the idea came to me. (poof) I really love The Wheel of Time series! And Rand too. The poor guy, I feel so sorry for him...
