Alone

A small, 100 word drabble about Boromir and his feelings at the start of the Fellowship. It is exactly 100 words excluding the title, regardless of what the word count says. I am proud of that.

Alone

He was alone like no other in the small group.

The Hobbits, strange folk that they were, had each other. The Dwarf seemed to like the Hobbits, as they were closer to the ground like he was. The Elf, Legolas was close to Aragorn it seemed, though with that one it was always hard to tell. Gandalf seemed to like everyone just as equally, and for that, he held no comfort.

Aragorn....the Man that was the heir of Isildur...he was just happy to play with the Halflings, to chat with his Elf friend.

He was so very alone.
