Manga 26 page 30

Realize, for all of this, I'm doing the very dangerous thing of assuming. I have already messed up in ISH be portraying Oyaji very much inaccurately. I feel really bad . . but I'm once again making this up by the manga, with out translating it all first....-.- so I apologize now for any and all screw-ups.

Ren PoV

Move you idiot!

My body lay unconscious next to him as he stared up at Chocolove.

We'll be fine! Move!

He just stood there, in shock. It dawned on me that he didn't know. He didn't know that no one is allowed to actually die in this. He was freaking out, and I saw what Chocolove had tried to tell me about when I was so rudely revived.

I saw a second layer of HoroHoro. Unconfident, no self-esteem, and weak. I would not believe Chocolove then, and I could not believe it now. All the confidence and cockiness once so happily worn was striped away, leaving behind a powerless child in its wake.

He was going to lose.

Cado (File No.131) grinned, letting one of those monster arrows loose. I wanted to shut my eyes against it, but in shock, ice formed on its own, blocking it. HoroHoro never flinched. He didn't even seem to notice.

Again, and Again, Cado attacked, but more ice formed to drop the arrows harmlessly to the ground.

HoroHoro began to mumble, all I could make out was 'Chocolove,' but I could tell, he still wasn't totally with it. This must be the layer of the Ainu that is trapped, replaying memories and battles over and over with no escape. The side with the perfect photographic mind, picking out every gory detail and playing them until he would snap.

The two spirits attacked and I wondered were his mind was trapped now.

And then I saw the third layer of HoroHoro. He stood there with his arms encased in the Nipopo Gauntlets, Left Husband and Right Wife.

In complete shock I watched him take out one spirit without moving.

He had just passed me. This third HoroHoro had just soared over my ability.

He took out the other spirit and stood in front of Cado, had just missed him with that attack.

"Usui Horokeu" this third layer called himself. This was the true potential of HoroHoro. This was the wolf HoroHoro had tried to hide within himself.

I was a little shaken as I approached my teammate, and the hush of the crowd was deafening.

Chocolove tried to lighten the mood, but I could Feel the layers fighting to slip back in place.

"HoroHoro."

A flicker of that top layer shone briefly in his black eyes.

"Tch."

The next fight was called to start, and Chocolove and I trailed behind him. Pirika waited there for us, along with a crying Opache. She looked tried, and worry shone in her dull eyes. HoroHoro tried to brush past, but Anna can to block the way.

She bore a message for Chocolove, and as the Ainu puzzled over it, I glanced at the last teammate I'd met.

HoroHoro seemed to return, but it also seemed Chocolove had some layers to show us as well.

Fini

Yes. This is just like watching Raw Anime and making up the dialogue as you go .

I feel so pathetic, but it been gnawing at me, and I had to get it out of my head to I can type FlotF chapter 2, which should be done no later than the morrow!

Does anyone know were the title comes from? .-
