It was a hot and dry day at Camp Green Lake…. yea yea yea, you know the drill…. sweat, irritability, dust everywhere.
"Who's that?" Squid asked suddenly, pointing to a girl walking towards them in the distance.
Everyone looked up and shrugged.
"I don't know." Zig Zag answered, shaking his head. They all squinted as she came more into view.
"Hey, there's another one!" Zero said suddenly, pointing off in the other direction.
Everyone looked where he was pointing to see another girl walking towards them.
"What's going on?" X-Ray asked, climbing out of his hole.
The others followed suit and began looking from one girl to the other. Both girls gave all the boys a little wave as they approached the digging ground.
"Hello, boys, I'm Squid Kid." The first girl said.
"And I'm RisRiss." Said the other.
"Wait, aren't you two the leaders of the battle that is going on in our section?" Squid dropped his shovel on the ground and looked at them both with uncertainty.
"You aren't gonna get in a fight right here, are you?" Zero asked, backing up a little.
Squid Kid laughed. "No, we aren't. In fact, we're friends now. Tell 'em, RisRiss."
"Well, boys…" RisRiss started, with a dramatic little sigh. "We realized the error of our ways, and are gonna sign a peace treaty."
At those words, a crowd of FanFiction girls came up behind each girl. Behind RisRiss came trucalifornian, Kirjava Deamon, xxTwitchyxCharmxx, Im2Selfish4Ryan16, The Mayor's Daughter, etc. Behind Squid Kid came Meg, Marshmellows, FaeOfDaRkNeSs, PeachPawz etc. Squid Kid looked back at the writers who had joined her.
"Hey, girls. First of all, I'd like to say thank you for supporting me. Second of all, I'd like to say I handled the situation wrongly. This is how we should have done it in the first place. We need to all make peace with each other. I hope you all will join me."
RisRiss turned to her group and addressed them. "We handled the whole thing wrong and we shouldn't have written parodies. It's time to put this crap behind us and just make peace."
All the guys gaped at the two girls.
"That's very noble of you two." Caveman told them.
"Yeah." Magnet and Armpit said in unison.
Squid and Zero nodded.
Zig Zag and X-Ray smiled and said, "All right!"
"So, no more fighting?" Squid asked with a smile.
"I hope not." Squid Kid replied.
With that, RisRiss and Squid Kid stepped up and met halfway between the two groups.
"Peace?" RisRiss asked.
"Peace." Squid Kid answered.
They shook hands and everyone cheered. And so, the war of the Holes section ended.
