Fly little wings

I just saw the movie In the time of the Butterfly and the movie is really amazing. Some how tonight I came but with this idea.

As a teenage girl Letty saw the power that ruled over her life in Dominican Republic fall. She also saw her mother fight for this to happen, and in the end loss her life for it. Now she thinks back on all this as she comes home with Dom. (song used is Little wing by Jimi Hendrix)

"Let, you ready to go?" Dom ask looking over to Letty

"Yeah guess so, how ready can you be?" Letty said back, she was scared, scared to be home. So much had change seen she had left the Dominican. A new government there and a whole new life for her in LA.

She knew she had to come back. Face her pass she try to forget. A passed filled with listening to great man and women speak about rising up and fighting back. A time when she was a butterfly. And her mother was one too.

Well she's walking through the clouds
With a circus mind that's running wild
Butterflies and zebras

Her mother, the bravest woman she ever knew. A woman who suffered thought so much. For what she believed it and in the end gave her life to it. a woman who's heart was bigger then the world she lived in, and a smile that was shined like moonbeams.

Dom walked slightly behind Letty as they walk into the graveyard. This was a time was Letty to finally deal with so much that she had left hang so many years ago. Dom was not about to disrespect that, in was a silent understanding.

"You know I don't even know where she is resting, my aunt had to tell me." She said out of know where with a hint of regret and sadness in her voice. A sign she was close to tears. Dom slowly step forward, putting his arm around her they walk the rest of the way together. And that is how they find the final resting place of Letty's Mother Mariah De Silva

And moonbeams and fairy tales
That's all she ever thinks about
Riding with the wind.

Letty fall to her knees before the small pink stone that marked where her mother laid. Dom stepped back, and watch on. Letty began to speak Spanish, most Dom could not understand, but soon he saw Letty clasp her hands together and pray.

The sun began to set in the sky casting a red glow over the land, Letty stood up. Dom took this has his cue to walk over. He embraced Letty. As she cried on his shoulder he saw what was engraved on Mariah's stone

Long fly the butterfly for she will always live on

"She will always be there for you Letty." He whispered to her

"I know, I still talk to her every day, let's go home." She said before braking away and walking to the car.

When I'm sad, she comes to me
With a thousand smiles, she gives to me free
It's alright she says it's alright
Take anything you want from me, anything
Anything.

Fly on little wing,
Yeah yeah, yeah, little wing

For My mother, my you rest in peace
