Aries's Hope
Up high on Mount Olympus, Zeus wonders what he should do for the Aries problem. He son Aries, has fallen for a mortal, the worst one Xena, the Warrior Princess, she has stopped Zeus before. But it seems that he has chosen a new person to bear his seeds. Gabriella, Xena's sidekick, for the bearer of his child. Zeus was very worried that if the child was a son that he will be over thrown. At the same time if it was a girl, Aries will kill it and all would be lost for a new granddaughter.
Meanwhile, Gabriella, who was getting bigger by the day, was worried that her new child will be evil like Hope her last daughter that she had to kill in order to save Xena. Xena was worried that the child was a male, and fighting the thieves will hurt her friend. Theisa, the leader of the female thieves, came down and just missed Gabriella's stomach by 2 cm. Xena attacked her with renewed strength. Her sword hit her on the arm impairing her from striking again.
"Now tell me why you're attacking this pregnant woman?" Xena says angrily
"Hades send us to kill the son of Aries" she spits out and laughs,"You've just saved the only one that can not be killed, that is a danger on it's self"
Xena looked at Gabriella and saw that her friend was shocked. Gabriella's normal smiling face dropped and her blue eyes were wide open. Xena looked at her and pushed her over.
"Get out of here and never show you face again or else she'll be the last thing you ever see"
Theisa ran and the rest followed. Xena looked at her friend and was very worried, for when they were fighting Gabriella's water broke and was in a puddle on the mud below.
"Gabriella, are you ok?" she ran to her, "We need to get to the next town. How is your child?"
"She grows fast like Hope. Do you think she's evil like Aries, or what? Aries!!!!"
They walked to the next town and the women helped Gabriella to give birth to a beautiful baby girl. She looked just like Gabriella.
"I'll call her Hope, because some how I know she's nothing like her father, and if he thinks he's going to kill her he has another thing coming" she is tired but very happy.
Only Xena is worried about Aries reaction to the baby. As if on cue, Aries appears out of thin air. The town's people bow down fast and Gabriella holds Hope tighter, Xena pulls out her sword.
"what is it?" he shouts," boy or girl?" he looks down and gasps." A girl!!!!"
Aries looks at the small child and suddenly laughs joyfully. He is touched by this child and he doesn't understand it.
Hope, who is sleeping peacefully, has blonde hair and blue eyes. It's almost as if she knows that she's safe and sound.
Three years later, Xena is walking in to the woods with food and a toy made by the woodsman there for her "niece". She reaches the spot just as Hope leaps form a tree nearby and leads safely.
"Hi Aunt Xena, guess what mommy said that you have a toy for me. Josher said that I can help him hunt for rabbit's as long as I'm quiet. I hit josher by accident during practice. Can I......"
"Slow down and help your mom with the wood, did you tell Josher sorry? Yes here's your toy, and no you can go in town yet your to young and to many people want to hurt you" she laughs." now go help your mom and tell Josher to stop getting in the way of practice."
Hope skips off happily to talk to Josher. Gabriella looks at Xena and smiles. Aries appears to say hi
"Buttons! Where are you I have a surprise for you!"
Hope jumps for the tree again and falls in to he's arms and hugs him tightly.
