When you are tired and helpless and weak
When you need some comfort that you might seek
When you are all alone and the pain just grows more
When you need someone's love to warm you to the core
When you need some company just to talk for fun
When you need the light and the warmth of the sun
When you need the kiss of the angel you love
When you need the angel that came from above
When you need to someone just close to you and there
When you need to know that somebody cares
When you need to release all your pain
When you just want to know that you are sane
When you need to be released from the dark
When you know that you don't have to work
When you need someone just to hold and cuddle
When you need to know that you are loved even a little
When you just want the pain to go away
When you just want one person to stay
That could be me I could help you so much
I could heal you by just one single touch
I could hold you forever and just let you be there
I could tell you loving words so that you aren't scared
I could protect you from the dangers that lurk
When you do something wrong, I won't even smirk
I want you to know that you are loved and cared
I want you to know that I loved what we shared
And I want to share more with you, even more than before
All I ask for is you and I couldn't ask for more.
