Hey, I'm Kelsi Kinkirk, and today is my birthday. My parents gave me this journal for my 13th birthday, along with an old locket, some clothes, and the new Evanescence CD.
My younger brother Avery gave me a computer game, and my older sister Emilie gave me the Wicked! Sound track. I'm actually listening to that now. I love Track 9- Popular. "Popular! You're gonna be popular. I'll teach you the proper poise for when you talk to boys, little way to flirt and flounce!" I really want to see that, almost as much as I want a boyfriend. You know, someone to hold your hand, and to carry your books, but mostly to look out for you. Emilie has had tons, yet I don't have one at all! Where is the justice is this? Well, adios! Love, Kelsi

Life is so crazy. But not crazy in a good way, like Dad says Mom was when they were dating and just married. Crazy like- take Avery to the dentist, take me to the doctor (YUCK), pick Emilie up from the mall, take Emilie to the Mary Kay store where she works, bring Dad his tie, and then find out I have to go spend a week with Nana Kinkirk! By myself! My siblings get to go to Grandma and Grandpa Camden's and spend the week in Glenoak. But, ho no! Not I! I have to go to BUFFALO, and do nothing. Nana works, so she can't take me anywhere like Grandma can. Ugg. This will be soooo boring. Kelsi
