Taking Over
A/N - I don't own any of these characters. They belong to Mrs. JK Rowling.
Ch. I- I Remember You
"Ginny!" I heard my mom call. I rolled over in bed and pulled the covers up over my head, trying to block out the sunlight. "Wake up! Breakfast is ready!" I reluctantly got out of bed and got dressed. I walked over to my mirror and looked at the girl staring back at me. She had long, red hair and blue eyes just like me. "I've got to lose a little weight," I sighed as I lifted up my yellow shirt to look at my stomach. I pulled my hair up in a high ponytail and turned around to see my mom peek her head in the door and say, " Ginny, you need to wake - oh good your already up. Well, breakfast is ready when you are."
I followed her out of the room and walked downstairs. Everyone had already eaten and left the table, but a plate of food was left at my normal spot so I sat down and started to eat. When I finished (I made sure I didn't eat it all), I walked outside to try and find Ron. He was in the garden sitting on the bench. I walked up and sat down next to him.
"Hi, Ron, "I said.
"Hey, Gin," he mumbled back.
"So what's up?" I asked cheerfully.
"Nothin," he said, looking at the ground. This wasn't working so I tried a different question.
"What time is Harry coming over?" This got his attention and he stopped looking at the ground. Instead he turned and looked at me with a gleam in his eye. "Why do you care so much?" he asked with a soft laugh. "Well, I.." I started to say back, but he interrupted me. "Look, Gin, I don't think you should get your hopes up with Harry. He's got a lot on his mind now that You-Know Who is back. And, besides, he probably doesn't even remember you that much since the last time he saw you."
"Well, I don't care what the bloody hell you say, Ron.
I remember Harry even if he doesn't remember me. I'm probably the only person in the whole wizarding world who believes in him. I, for one, think he can handle Voldemort." When I said this Ron winced and I hit him on the back of the head and said, "Oh, grow up Ron. Now, what time is Harry coming?"
No sooner had I gotten the words out of my mouth than we heard my mom shout from the kitchen, "Ron, Ginny! Harry's here!"
I got up, smoothed my skirt, and brushed my hair out of my face. Ron laughed at me and I hit him on the head again as he took off for the house. I walked slowly, not wanting to mess up my clothes and get all sweaty. This probably would have made Ron laugh harder, so I was thankful that he had started to run. When I got to the kitchen I looked in the mirror. I have this thing with mirrors. Anytime there's a mirror in the room I have to look in it. I looked ok so I went into the den where they were sitting. When I saw Harry I gave a little gasp. He stood up walked over to me. He had gotten so much taller since the last time I had seen him. And more muscular, too. I was so busy noticing the way he looked that I didn't even notice he had said hey to me. "Ginny, are you ok?" he asked. "Wha- oh yeah, I'm fine, Harry." I felt my face go red.
