Disclaimer: Don't know if I need one, so, not mine. Hey! Wait a minute! I didn't even use characters for this anyway! Oh, well . . .

Death hurts, but so does life. One dark, one light, and both bring a world of pain.

And I, who was born from the gray in-between - made of both the pure and the tainted - have lived the most painful existence of all.

The dark beckons, alluring, entrancing, and eternal, as the demon inside me tries to overcome. But my light, a soul, holds me, binds me, and keeps me from flowing away.

I grow tired of this ache, of being torn in two, but responsibility won't let me go.

He stared at the stake in his had, undecided, still a riddle of light and dark, good and evil, life and death.

Was . . . o.k. . . . awful . . . or you really don't care? Whatever it was, review! Pleeeaase?!

And if anyone knows how to seperate sections of the story -i.e. with asterisks, etc. - I desperately need help (it won't hold when I try it), so if you could tell me, I'd be forever grateful!
