Shadow sat in a soggy cardboard box. Next to him was a photo of Maria and a small, dirty mirror. It was the middle of the night and raining, but he didn't care.
He eventually falls in a restless sleep. He dreams of himself and Maria. She was still alive in his dream.
I believe in you. I'll give up everything just to find you. I have to be with you. To live, to breath. You're taking over me.
He runs towards her, she's calling him. But the closer he gets to her, the farther she is. He almost gets to her and she reaches out her hand. He tries to grab it, and just before they touch he snaps awake, sweating violently. Lightning flashes outside.
Have you forgotten all I know and all we had? You saw me mourning my love for you and touched my hand. I knew you loved me then.
He sits huddled in the box, his legs drawn to his chest, his head buried in his arms. He felt someone touch his hand and turned his head to see Maria's hand. He looks up eagerly to see her face but no one was there.

He smashed his fist against the hard ground, causing crimson blood to leak through his white gloves. He looks at the small picture of Maria, his vision blurred by tears.
I look in the mirror and see you face. If I look deep enough, so many things inside that are just like you are taking over
He looked at the small mirror and saw his distorted image, covered in dirt and blood. In pure fury and sorrow he picked up the mirror and smashed in onto the ground, causing it to shatter into thousands of sharp shards.

He grabbed a glass shard, blood dripping onto it. He gingerly picked up the picture of Maria and placed it over his heart. He gripped the shard tightly, tears pouring down his face, and stabbed it through the picture. His corps fell limply to the ground with a soft thud, Maria forever impaled into his heart.
