This story is about 1 man, and his dreams, hopes, and realities adrift a family caught in the Revolutionary War. This is no ordinary heroic story. It is a cross between many different types of entertainment. The family I am referring to is the main family from the movie, "The Patriot". The parts played by 2 people come into play here; Mel Gibson's part, and Mika Boorems part. The story will be twisted around a lot from the movie, so try to keep this in mind. Mika's role is aged a little, so that she would be 16 in this story, but Mel's character remains his age as displayed in the movie.
Now. The different media's that come into play are as follows; The Patriot (Movie), Halo (Video Game), Dragonballz (Japanese Cartoon Show), and Doom III (Video Game by John Carmack). I mention a few of these because it uses the effects of a few of them, such as the Super Sayajin effect from the DBZ series. Most of the names from all but The Patriot will not be mentioned, as they have nothing to do with this story.
The part played by Mika Boorem, named Margaret Martin in the movie, will be changed to Katie Martin for personal reasons.
The part played by Mel Gibson, named Benjamin Martin in the movie, will be changed to Alan Martin for personal reasons.
The rest of the parts from this movie will remain the same.
If you follow all of the above listed media closely, you may be able to imagine these things. For others they may not be as realistic or as comprehendible as I would like them to be, but without a way to show you, I am unable to otherwise depict the way it has been pictured in my imagination, and therefore should be treated and respect as such.
The story up to the point of the start of the first chapter is the same as the movie, and the story starts at the point just after Cornwallis has approved the use of brutal tactics to Tavington. The story picks up that night, in Katie's bedroom, where her dad, Alan, walks in to check on her, after he hears screams coming from her room.
