Epilogue

"Hey Sam. How's everyone?.. yeah she should be here any minute... Well, at the moment I'm okay, but that's probably because I havent seen her yet...I think she's coming. I'll talk to you tonight."

--knock knock--

A young, 17 year old brunette stuck her head in the doorway. "Professor Jackson?"

"Yes," The elderly man smiled. "And you must be Natalie Manslow." Daniel cleared a stack of papers from the seat on the other side of his desk. "Please, sit," He ushered her to her chair.

"So, I hear that you need some tutoring in your History and public relations classes," Elderly Daniel commented as he sat opposite Nat at his desk.

"Yeah, unfortunately. Professor Daniel-"

"Please. Call me Daniel."

"Daniel, No offence, but personally I feel dumb by having a tutor. Even if it's you."

"Having a tutor doesn't mean you're dumb. You just need a little help in your history and public relations classes."

Nat smiled nervously. "yeah.. that.. I've ben meaning to knuckle down and try harder.." Natalie nervously played with her lip.

"Well, when I've finished helping you, I'll b surprised if you're not top of your class." Daniel smiled.

[September 25th, 2023: I've been asked to tutor a very interesting student by the name of Natalie Manslow. After meeting her, I've concluded that she is as cheerful and smart as I remember her being when she first stepped through the gate more than 20 years ago. I had very much looked forward to meeting her again...

Tonight I went to dinner at Jack and Sam's place. Teal'c and Janet were also there. I told them about how I met Nat today. I'm surprised that I was able to maintain composure while she was there. Although, as soon as she left my study, I moped for at least an hour. It's really hard to see someone who was extremely close to you, after she died almost thirty years ago. The hardest thing is the fact that she doesn't remember me.]
