HOW IT ALL TURNS OUT
Getting on Platform 9 3/4
"Platform 9... Platform 10... 9...10. Ok. Where's 9 3/4. Oh god. I'm so lost." A short girl with blonde hair with natural red streaks was murmuring to herself. She stopped in the middle of the two platforms and stared around her. Watching the people, hoping someone could help her.
"Hedwig, shhh... calm down." She noticed a boy with dark brown hair and glasses trying to calm down his pet bird. Wait not a bird, an owl... not many people carry owls around, only wizards. She also noticed that all the people around him had shockingly red hair and also carried some strange animal, owls and rats. A girl with long, very curly, almost bushy hair was carrying a ginger cat. They'll know how to get on the platform.
She didn't want to go up and ask, not wanting to look stupid so she watched as one by one the group ran through the wall between platforms 9 and 10. They just disappeared through the wall.
"Oh god. I'm still so confused, did they like say a password or something or did they just walk through." She looked over to where the group once stood and saw that the boy with the dark hair, carrying the owl, the girl with the cat, and one of the red head boys still remained. The rest had gone threw, without any notice. "Guess I should go ask for help before they go through too."
She walked over, timidly yet confidently and they saw her coming. "S'cuse me," She said with an American accent, as the trio noticed. "I'm horribly confused, could you please tell me how you get through to Platform 9 3/4." She smiled slightly.
"Oh, it's quite easy, once you know how to get through." The brown, bushy haired girl said, with an air of intellect.
"Yeah, it's easy." The red head agreed, "Are you new to Hogwarts, I've never seen you before."
"I just moved from America. I'm living with my aunt, but she couldn't come with me although, I'm sure she can get on to the platform, I transferred from a very private school for witchcraft and wizardry, 6th year." She replied smiling warmly.
"I'm Hermione, this is Ron and Harry." She pointed to each boy in turn.
"Riley."
"I guess we should be getting on to the platform before the barrier closes." Hermione said looking at her watch. "All you have to do is run or lean through the wall there, between 9 and 10. Make sure no one is watching before you do it."
"Ok." She smiled, "Thanks."
"Why don't the two of us go together and then Harry and Ron follow. We can just casually lean against the barrier like were waiting for a train and then fall through, it's the easiest way." Riley got the idea that this girl liked to be in charge and was use to giving telling others what to do.
"Alright. Lets do it. Time to see how it all turns out." The two girls walked towards the barrier pushing there carts and looked around them chatting casually before leaning against the wall and falling through. The boys followed seconds after.
AN: This is my first posted story. I think it is very good but then I'm the author. Please review and let me know what you think. I have other chapters written but I won't post until I know if people are going to read this. Constructive criticism please!
