Ulrich362: Been a little while since we've worked on this one, but it's finally time for what might be the weakest of the Arcana Shadows to be dealt with.
bopdog111: And seeing how the team from Duel Academy battles now.
Ulrich362: Exactly, oh but before we get to that one clarification. Seto Kaiba already knew about the risk to Chie's life when he dueled her... had she acted strong and moved to take the final attack he would have manually deactivated his Duel Disk, but since she got scared he just played it off as noticing she looked like the duel was causing her harm. He'd already seen Persona Users duel but was keeping that information to himself for the time being.

Everyone walked together to the entrance of Duel Academy before Bastion walked forward turning to the group before closing his eyes as the headset, and Amazoness Princess appeared above him as she meditated above him.
"Can you sense it?" Zane asked him.
Bastion concentrated before he then said grunting, "It's hard to tell... some kind of webbing is interfering with Amazoness Princess' scan."
"Webbing?" Yosuke asked hearing that. "Like a spider web or something?"
"Well interferences like electrical currents all around." Bastion admitted to them before then saying, "It'll take me a moment to figure it out."
"So the Shadow is in a large room of wires or something?" Alexis asked them hearing that.
"Is there anywhere like that Zane?" Blair asked him.
"Hmmm..." Zane closed his eyes cupping his chin hearing that. "Now that she mentions it Chancellor Sheppard did told me yesterday that the lights in the Dueling Arena started acting up like being chaotic."
"Then that's where we can start looking." Yosuke grinned.
They started before Bastion told them, "Hang on a second." They looked to him as he explained, "I already searched that area but that isn't the spot it's at... But after examining further, I can sense a presence where Yosuke, and Yu fought against Kagemaru during the first year."
"Kagemaru?" Blair asked as they realized she never heard about that duel.
"We'll tell you later, but it's the place where the Sacred Beasts are." Syrus said before asking Bastion, "So Bastion is it there?"
"Well... I can feel it's in an area where... I can sense the Spirit Keys?" Bastion asked surprised feeling the familiar signature. "It's the area where the Spirit Keys are used to unlock the Sacred Beasts."
"The Slifer Dorm?" Syrus asked hearing that.
After Bastion rechecked over he gave a nod before Amazoness Princess vanished as he answered, "Yes I can sense the source over at the Slifer Dorm."
"Well this just keeps getting better, and better." Yosuke admitted at that.
"And that better just got solved." Jaden's voice said as they looked over where he, and Yu walked over, "Me, and Yu got summoned to the Velvet Room so we weren't here earlier. What did we miss?"
"The Shadows is at the Slifer Red Dorm." Zane answered before pausing. "Why were you two summoned?"
"Well... Beaufort, Elizabeth, and Margaret actually managed to find a way for us to prevent the Fall for good." Yu said to them at that.
"Seriously?" Syrus asked in shock.
"What did they say?" Yukiko asked curiously.
"Well..." Jaden started.
Flashback...
(Cue Theme: Aria of the Soul)
The two appeared looking around where Igor greeted them with a smile, "Welcome back."
"We apologize for bringing you back. But we have something we need to share." Elizabeth said to the two of them.
"What is it?" Jaden asked curiously. "Is everything ok?"
Beaufort walked over explaining to them, "Well me, and my sisters done a bit of digging, and we had found something out. A special ability that can only be accessed by two Wildcards."
"You mean me and Jaden." Yu nodded. "What do we have to do?"
"Concentrate your powers together." Margaret answered before then saying, "After Jaden revealed the power of the Light of Destruction has a hand in Personas we believe we can use it's power to stop the Fall. And now finally the chance arises."
"To put it simply... You two are able to have the power to produce a seal." Beaufort said to them. "A seal... that can permanently seal away one of the Arcana Shadows with the power of the Light of Destruction, and the Darkness of Justice in perfect harmony together to keep it from escaping."
"Seal away... is that really possible?" Jaden asked. "I mean... how would we even create that kind of seal?"
"You must combine all of your powers between you, and your Social Links together, and produce it together with Neos, and Izanagi." Elizabeth answered at that before saying, "But the seal takes time to complete so you need to weaken one of the Shadows first in order to use it as it will be too weakened to fight off. The catch is that if the Shadow is killed before the seal can be complete it will fail."
"Then we only have four chances left." Yu realized only to frown. "This is going to be tough."
"Don't worry about that Yu, I'm sure we can handle it." Jaden reassured him with a grin. "Oh... wait how are my Social Links doing anyway?"
"Let us check out."

There is only 1 Social Link left missing as Judgement is not lit up. Jaden's eyes widened seeing that before frowning. "Yubel..."
"Don't worry, it is mostly due that you, and her had recently been reunited. You have time to develop." Beaufort assured him the reason why.
"Yeah, to make up for lost time." Jaden smiled.
"Wait a second, Jaden... you have a Social Link with your deck?" Yu asked suddenly.
Jaden blinked looking seeing that there is a Social Link on his Deck representing Aeon. At that Jaden pulls out his Deck looking at it while Yu turned over before Jaden then smiled, "It... it makes total sense. I have a deep bond with my cards long before we met... and I hear the voices of Duel Monsters while growing up. So this is probably a Social Link forming without me realizing it."
Yu smiled hearing that before turning to Igor and the others. "Thanks for letting us know, we'll make sure to seal one of the Shadows away, and hopefully that might free your guest too Elizabeth."
Elizabeth smiled nodding before Jaden realizing, "Hey wait a second... should I be concerned that my Social Link with Judgement isn't active yet?"
"From past experiences, it will form on its own soon enough so you don't have to worry." Margaret answered. "As long as you continue to strengthen your bonds I'm sure things will work out."
Jaden nodded before then remembering, and turned to Yu, "By the way Yu?" Yu looked over as Jaden asked, "So what's with the deal of those different moments? And saying something about a MAX Social Link?"
"A MAX Social Link... is an unbreakable bond." Yu answered.
"Unbreakable..." Jaden looked at his hand clenching it, "And it said something about... Ultimate Personas of the Arcana? Are they like rewards?"
"I guess you could say that." Yu admitted.
"They are the final, and true forms of your Social Links taken form." Igor explained to Jaden at that, "With every bond you complete the more powerful you will become."
Jaden closed his eyes at that before opening his eyes, "Well Yu... I can always depend on you to help me out of any situation right? So let's stick this till the end." He offered a hand.
Yu smiled taking it. "I could say the same to you Jaden."
Before they left the Velvet Room Residence noticed Jaden's Social Link with Yu advancing to 9.
End Flashback...
"So now we have a way to prevent the Fall." Jaden finished explaining.
"Apparently." Bastion nodded.
"Then we should try and weaken this Shadow so you two can seal it away." Zane nodded.
"Alright Jaden this time you will lead the charge." Yu stated to Jaden, "When your sure we're ready talk to Bastion, and we will head off."
Jaden nodded at that understanding.
(Cue Theme: Backside of the TV)
With that Jaden looked around the group as they gear to get themselves ready for he walked over to Zane, "Hey Zane?" Zane looked over to him before Jaden asked, "You never really fought any of the Shadows with us or did you had practice while I was gone?"
"I had practice Jaden. I thought of using this." With that Zane pulled something out of his bag showing Jaden it was a band attaching it to his wrist before it folded into a plated blue shield on his left arm with a gauntlet attached.
"Whoa, sweet." Jaden grinned."
"The Kirijo Group, and Fuuka designed this for me at my request." Zane explained while looking at his shield. "Kanji uses an actual chair so I figured how could it be any different from using an actual shield in battle?"
"Hey, it was just when I first started. I actually use shields now." Kanji pointed out.
"Is everyone ready?" Bastion asked. "There's something just ahead."
"Just a jiff Bastion!" Jaden called, "You just make sure you don't lose track of that Shadow."
"It isn't moving Jaden." Bastion told him. "It's... doing something to the electricity though."
"Well we're just about ready." Jaden said before remembering, "Oh me, and Yubel did prep something for me." They looked at him as he pulled out two Tonfas.
"Like we always do." Syrus pulled out his staff which is now a bamboo staff with a metal coating on the outside.
"Wait Jaden where did you get those?" Yukiko asked a more important question seeing the Tonfa.
Jaden shrugged, "Me, and Yubel encountered Shadows while we were gone. She made these for me to defend myself, and I kinda grown onto them." He spin them around with a smile before then looking over to the current girl Persona User along with Jesse. "Hey Blair, Jesse what do you two use for training?"
Blair at that looked over, and grinned, "Actually something that I figured to step my game." She reached in her bag as they looked before she pulled out what looks like a whip.
"Whoa, isn't that a little much?" Yosuke asked in shock.
"Hey I used tricks before to get love but now I show I can fight back. I'm not a defenseless maiden anymore." Blair said with a annoyed expression.
"Well at least be careful where your using that thing." Chie rubbed her head nervous at that.
Blair only winked, "Oh don't worry only Shadows can taste my whip." She then turned over to the Shadow in the group, "Shadows but YOU of course Ted."
"What about Mar..." Teddie started only for Chie to punch him in the head.
"Knock if off." she snapped.
"Alright Jesse what do you have?" Jaden asked turning to Jesse.
They see Jesse blushing a bit, "Well... it's not really original actually... Yuki was worried about some things so she has me take something that is able to be unable to harm me." With that he pulled out what looks like brass punch rings.
"If it works that's the important thing." Zane pointed out.
"Well... This is the first time we're going up against a Shadow on our own so we should probably be careful." Jaden said to everyone at this, "Out of us all only Syrus has experience on Shadows so let's be careful."
They all nodded as the Duel Academy Persona Users followed Bastion to the Slifer Red Dorm while the Investigation Team followed behind them. They soon arrived at the same area the Dark Scorpions were where they see a large hunchback shadow with several light bulbs on it's back with a yellow mask on, and a gray mane on it's head with it's four limbs connected down like wires around them.
"What is that thing?" Blair asked nervously.
Bastion after scanning it called, "It is the Hermit Shadow of Death! Prepare for battle!"
(Boss Theme: Master of Shadows)
Boss Fight: Arcana Hermit
Sensing danger the Shadow turned over before casting, "Mazionga!"
Lightning charged forward at the group which they avoided but Zane blocked it with his shield before he called, "Come! Persona, Zionga!" He spin destroying his Persona card with his shield as Cyber Dragon appeared above him before it fired lightning but the blast was absorbed, "Hn... Electricity can't do anything."
Taking her turn Blair smacked her whip calling, "Alright! Persona, Agilao!" She used her whip to destroy her Persona card while Maiden in Love appeared above her meditating before a blast of fire magic which made the Hermit let out a gargled cry from the attack before Jesse followed through, "My turn! Persona, Mahama!"
He destroyed his Persona card with an uppercut which made Ruby Carbuncle appeared above him charging light around Hermit only for it to have no effect. "Ah man, Light Skills are useless!"
Now for Jaden he grabbed a card before switching it out, and called, "Persona! Bufudyne!" He used a Tonya to destroy his card while Aqua Dolphin appeared above him charging ice striking Hermit which made it let out a cry from this before the Hermit then charged electricity in it's body knelling down as blue energy charged on it while it's bulbs glowed bright.
"Something's wrong, it's preparing something." Bastion warned them.
"Blair switch with Syrus!" Jaden called.
"Well if your sure." Blair followed through before Syrus ran in.
"Okay I'm here now!" Syrus called readying his staff on his whip.
"Let's try this." Zane gets an idea summoning his card, "Revolution!" He spin destroying his card while Cyber Dragon appeared charging something enveloping all the fighters including Hermit.
"Whoa, what was that?" Jesse asked him.
"Let's try it out." Zane said to him.
"Okay I'll give it a shot!"
Syrus ran forward striking Hermit several times with his staff before jumping up landing a critical strike with his staff making the Hermit scream out collapsing on the ground while he jumped back.
"Sweet move Syrus." Jaden grinned seeing that.
"Let's take this thing down before it gets back up." Jesse suggested.
"All-Out Attack!"
"I'll follow ya!"
They all charged over striking the down Shadow in several directions before jumping back showing they dealt a blow to Hermit. Jesse himself charged forward punching Hermit several times but it didn't do the same critical hit from before. Now for Jaden he switched over before calling, "Alright, Yubel! Nightmare Pain!" He destroyed the card as Yubel appeared above as thorn barriers appeared around the group before fading.
Bastion at that makes his own move while his own card shattered, "Alright Amazoness Princess!" Amazoness Princess gave energy to the group increasing there attack power.
The Hermit at that attempted to attack Syrus with a physical only for the thorns to deflect it, and injure the Hermit causing it to cry out.
"Wait, we don't want to destroy it remember?" Syrus pointed out. "We need to let Jaden and Yu seal it away."
"It needs to be weakened first. We haven't weakened it enough yet! Keep at it!" Jaden reminded him at that.
"Syrus?" Zane asked before smirking.
"Huh?" Syrus looked before then realizing, and grinned nodding.
"What something you got planned?" Jesse asked them seeing there expressions.
"Persona!" the Truesdale siblings called together as Cyber Dragon and Submarineroid appeared above them.
"Ready for this Syrus!"
"You know it!"
The two charged in as Zane gotten a boost from Syrus' staff above, and struck down smashing his shield against the Hermit before Syrus came forward striking multiple times with his staff in rapid succession before the two raise there weapons as mechanical limbs rose from the ground attacking the Hermit together with Submarineroid's missile firing charged with Cyber Dragon's Strident Blast.
At the end the Hermit cried out collapsing but not destroyed yet. Bastion's eyes suddenly widened. "Everyone be careful, something dangerous is coming!"
"Don't worry the group will keep whatever it is off our backs! Yu come on it's time to seal this thing!" Jaden called over to Yu seeing the chance to seal the Hermit.
Yu nodded. "Right."
Yu ran beside him as they raised their hands crushing the cards.
"Neos!"
"Izanagi!"
Both there Personas appeared before raising their arms crossing them together as a sealing symbol appeared on the ground below the Hermit before a large black cage that is glowing yellow appeared trapping the Hermit as it struggled with yellow energy chains restraining it's body as it roared as the cage slowly lowers into the ground while the Hermit struggles to break free but due to being weakened from the battle, it's having a difficult time to break free. Yu, and Jaden can feel there energies quickly dropping but they hold on as best as they can lowering down as the Hermit screech despite to try breaking free with whatever strength it has left.
"Gah! Almost theeerrrreeee!" Jaden cried to Yu struggling to keep pouring his energy with Yu beside him as the cage kept lowering eventually only the Hermit's head remains to be sealed.
Suddenly Syrus's eyes widened. "Jay, behind you!"
"Huh?" Jaden asked before something jumped over him, and shot forward towards the cage.
SLASH!
Everyone froze as they see something behind the cage. Just then the Hermit's head split open before being vaporized in black mist as with the sealing cage fading away from the seal failing to be complete.
"What was that?" Chie questioned.
Jaden knelled down drained of his energy as a voice said, "So you resorted to such tactics to prevent what means to come."
They looked over as the being turned dropping his hood showing it was the Shadow Angel that defeated Dimitri.
"You!" Chazz growled seeing the Shadow Angel.
"They're clearly desperate." mentioned a second voice as they turned to see the same Shadow that dueled against Nanako and Adrian when Yubel possessed Marcel.
"It's that Shadow that fought with Yubel against me, and Nanako." Adrian glared seeing her.
"Oh please if there really that desperate then we should step in." several different cloaks joined the other two.
"Who are you all suppose to be?" Syrus asked with a glare.
One of them lift an arm as the Magician Arcana appeared above her hand as it spin around. "We are who will be taking back what rightfully belongs to Lord Erebus. You stole him, and torn him apart, and now you have a debt to repay."
"A debt that we'll be collecting." a second figure answered before glaring at Chazz. "Not to mention, you'll pay for destroying my beloved."
"She attacked me first so consider that debt repaid." Chazz glared back at him.
"Why you-!" A hand raised which made the second figure stop, and stand down.
The figure stepped back forward saying it a old male voice, "Mayhaps we can come to an... arrangement..."
"What are you talking about?" Zane questioned.
"You have something we want. For you see as you are aware as long as Lord Erebus is split the Fall cannot commence." the voice said looking at them, "However Lady Nyx will still descend on humanity even without Lord Erebus only she isn't sure if the Fall is ready without Lord Erebus to confirm it. So for your troubles I thought of a deal that can work for both our benefit."
"You honestly think we'd agree to anything you suggest?" Jessica questioned. "Forget it."
"*sigh*" the old man sighed in annoyance before saying, "Wasn't nobody talking to you bitch. You haven't even heard what I want to propose yet."
Aster glared at him hearing that.
"What is it?" Yu asked him.
"Ahem." clearing his throat the old man went to his voice from before, "For your troubles you give us back all the Arcanas of Erebus, and don't seal the final of the Shadows that form Death. And in return we shall blank your memories of the Fall that way you all will live blissfully unaware of the coming end of days. Think on it, you will no longer have to fear for the end coming, we get back Lord Erebus for him to contact Lady Nyx, and everything benefits to us."
"No, you want to hurt everybody and we're not going to let you." Nanako told him.
"She's right, we're not giving you anything." Chie agreed.
"I believe I was talking to the Wildcards not you two." the old man said to them annoyed before turning back to Jaden, and Yu saying with his smile. "It's just simple. You give us back Lord Erebus, and refrain from using that seal again. Then when the Great Seal is finally destroyed, we will rid your minds of the Fall so you can live happy, and in peace."
"You know, that does sound kind of tempting." Jaden admitted before frowning. "Sorry, but no deal."
"Right, we're not handing them over to you." Yu agreed.
The old man sighed rubbing his head before asking them now with his tolerate tone gone. "Look, you two can continue being ignorant but try to understand. Almost all of humanity wishes for death, they don't want to return to what they were, and they are calling for Lady Nyx to bring her salvation. Why can't you understand that?"
"We told you already, the answer's no." Jaden told him.
The old man stared before shaking his head. "Figures, brats like them would still be this naive not seeing what humanity deeply desires. What a disappointment..." He then looked up at the sky. "Ah well it makes no difference my work on the Great Seal is almost complete, and even if we fail Lady Nyx will succeed in taking them back."
"What?" Yu questioned hearing that. "What work on the Great Seal, what are you talking about?"
"Oh I suppose you haven't found out yet?" the old man asked before adjusting his glasses under his hood. "You see that brat, Minato Arisato... he had no limit to how long he can hold Lord Erebus. However as time went on, I discovered that his little seal is not as invincible as it was meant to be. Slowly over the years, I helped Lord Erebus weaken it for it to break him down to clear the way for Lady Nyx. By the time you stole him, one more attack would've finally bring the Fall." He then glared. "But then your friend had to be in the way, and split Lord Erebus apart really desperate to prevent what means to come."
"What did you do to him!?"
The old man calmly answered Chie's question. "I took his energy that he stole from Lord Erebus, and gave it back to Lord Erebus. While she keeps destroying him, I calmly await to give the next batch of energy onto Lord Erebus."
Suddenly Jaden frowned. "What about Trueman, and Nightshroud?"
"Excuse me?" the old man asked hearing that.
Before Jaden can speak Dimitri remembering his last match quickly called, "Jaden hush!" He looked at him confused, and said, "I thought one of them killed Nanako when they dueled me, and it spilled out a secret advantage she had so don't you dare say anything about them if they don't know them yet!"
He frowned but nodded. "Right."
"Sir, let me take care of the loud one who destroyed my beloved. I won't fail to crush him." the Shadow mentioned.
The old man only turned over to him. "You be sure not to fail like she did?"
"You have my word." the Shadow answered glaring at Chazz.
"Very well. You can fight. It be sure to give them a punishment for refusing my offer." the old man nodded before turning over, "But before we go, I have something to say to you Investigation Team."
They all flinched hearing that.
"Go to Mitsuru, and tell her... I will right where I failed before." the old man said before he, and the other Shadows faded away leaving the one who will be fighting behind.
The Shadow jumped down removing its cloak revealing a muscular man wearing what looked like gladiator armor. Chazz walked over, "Like I said before your 'beloved' attacked me first so I had to defend myself."
"That's enough out of you." the Shadow growled activating its Duel Disk.
Meanwhile...
"Mitsuru Kirijo correct? Leader of the Shadow Operatives and the Kirijo group?" Trueman inquired standing opposite her in her office.
"Hm?" Mitsuru looked over seeing him, and asked, "You'd be correct. But who are you?"
"You can call me Trueman." he smirked as a Duel Disk made of darkness formed on his arm. "Your opponent in this duel."
Mitsuru narrowed her eyes as she rose up from her chair, "So your a Shadow?"
"Not exactly, but if that's what it would take to have you accept my challenge then you can consider me one." Trueman smirked.
Mitsuru stared at him with a glare before then saying, "Fine I'll accept your challenge."
Trueman smirked at that. With that they made space in her office readying their Decks before Mitsuru tells him, "You best not underestimate me."
"We'll see." Trueman told her.
"DUEL!" Mitsuru and Trueman called together.

Mitsuru frowned. "Well as I summoned her my Ice Sword Master can destroy your facedown card."
Ice Master charged in slashing the face-down destroying it but Ice Master then blinked feeling something.

"What?" Mitsuru questioned seeing that.

"And now the effect of Dark Archetype activates." Trueman said not fazed by the damage before saying, "But first as a monster effected by Lasting Rebellion attacked it's destroyed."
Mitsuru's eyes widened as her monster shattered into ice crystals. 'So that's his strategy.'
"Then as Dark Archetype is destroyed, I can summon a monster from my Deck who's attack points are equal or less then the damage I took." Trueman added at that as his Deck glowed.
Mitsuru nodded as she also secretly pressed a button on her Duel Disk to send a warning message to Aigis, and Seto Kaiba that something was going on related to the Shadows. "So what are you planning on bringing out?"
"The monster Necro Gardna."
A shield like warrior appeared kneeling down in defense.

"What?" Mitsuru questioned caught off guard by that.
"Oh I know many things. Including that your Grandfather was the one who brought forth the Dark Hour in a attempt to bring forth the Fall." Trueman smirked over to her. "Then at the time you, and your team thought you had eliminated the Dark Hour your advisor turned on you, and tried to sacrifice you all to the Fall not before taking your father with him."
"How do you know about that?" Mitsuru questioned. "Just who are you?"
"How? It's simple." Trueman at that started to change appearance. As he finished forward his opened new eye reflected Mitsuru's shocked look as he raise up revealing as an eyepatched man wearing a suit saying in a new voice, "That's because I am Takeharu Kirijo, your father."
"Father?" Mitsuru questioned in shock seeing him before frowning. "What trickery is this, my father died years ago."
"So you don't believe your eyes?" Trueman asked in Takeharu's voice before saying, "Maybe this card can prove it." Taking a card he revealed it, "First off is the spell, Megalith Unformed."
At that a spell rose up.

"First as Megalith Hagith is Ritual Summon, I get to take the Field Spell, Megalith Portal to my hand." Trueman said pulling out a card showing to Mitsuru in between his fingers. "Are you still having doubts about seeing your father in the flesh after thinking he's been dead all these years?"
"I saw my father die, I held him in my arms." Mitsuru frowned. "If this is an attempt to confuse me I'm afraid it won't work."
"Then maybe a trip to the past will convince you." Trueman shows the card, "The trip will be done by the Megalith Portal!"

At that a bright light shined blinding Mitsuru.
"What now?" Mitsuru questioned shielding her eyes.
When she opened her eyes she looked stunned looking around finding herself in a familiar lobby. Her eyes widened. "Impossible, Tartarus?"
"Do you remember this Mitsuru?" Trueman asked as she looked seeing the duel is still on, "That day where you unlocked your power?"
He gestured his arm where she sees a younger version of herself with several guards, and Takeharu before one of them turned into a Shadow, and attacked where she takes an Evoker, and summoned a Persona destroying the Shadow.
"You held a grasp of death in your hands, and you chose to take that risk to save my life. But despite this, I know your destiny will grow hard on you as time goes." Trueman stated to her before turning back. "Even if I held faith in your path, I knew that I could do nothing to aid you on your quest. Nothing but give you advice, and info."
Mitsuru froze slightly hearing that.
"And now to further prove allow me to show you the power I seen." Trueman held up a card, "With the ability of Megalith Hagith, I can Ritual Summon using monsters from my hand or field. I sacrifice Haith itself along with Necro Gardna!"
The two vanished as an altar rose up.
"Shadows aligning for the End. They join together to form one of the coming End of Days. Now to better grace for Armageddon is the divine graces of the Gods. Ritual Summon! Divine Grace - Northwemko!"
A bright light occurred as Mitsuru looked seeing a dark blue cloaked sorceress holding a sun staff, and a crested crown on as she swing it showcasing her power.

Northwemko charged a blast from her staff launching an attack down.
It was revealed to be a wolf made out of snow with icicles for fangs.

Artemisia charged ice in her whip attacking Northwemko destroying her easily while Trueman stepped back. (Trueman: 0900/Hand: 0)
"Well... I suppose your reputation as one of the stronger Persona Users was not out of exaggeration." Trueman said after getting hit by this.
"I told you before not to underestimate me."
"I remember clearly, however I haven't been. No matter how hard you struggle it makes no difference in the end." Trueman stated to her simply while she sets a card which also releases the effect of Megalith Portal.

"Now for the end of the duel." Trueman said drawing at this.
Trueman looked before then showing the card, "I use the spell, Card of Sanctity."

"Then another spell, Preparation of Rites!"

At that Bethor vanished as the altar rose again.
"When the Shadows come together into the very stepping stone of Armageddon it shall form the statue of the end! Now it shall rose once more to revert everything back to nothing! Ritual Summon! Level 8, Megalith Phaleg!"
This time a large white statue rose up wielding a staff readying shaping as an angel.

As the area returned to normal Trueman approached the down Mitsuru, and said to her, "Don't fret... Artemisia will be assisting us from now on." He stretched his hand as shadows enveloped Mitsuru. Mitsuru's eyes widened hearing that as she vanished.
BANG!
"Mitsuru-senpai!"
Trueman turned over curious seeing Aigis, and Minako had barged in before Minako glared with tears in her eyes, "How dare you..!?" Using her Evoker she called, "Get him, Sigrún!"
She pulled the trigger as her Tier 3 Persona, Sigrún appeared above charging forward at Trueman slashing through him but reformed in a matter of seconds with a smirk shocking Minako making her blink as Trueman laughed, "You really think something like THAT can harm me? Didn't your CEO ever tell you that true Shadows cannot be touched in ways your used too."
Minako glared before Trueman stated, "I've done my business here." With that he turned away vanishing. As he did Minako started crying kneeling down next to Aigis.
Aigis held her close before frowning. "We need to tell the others what happened here. Yu-san and Jaden-san are on Academy Island, and I have a feeling they're going to need all the help we can give them."
"Will we... be able to rescue Mitsuru-senpai?" Minako asked her with tearful eyes.
Aigis frowned at that. "We'll do everything we can, and you'll be right there with us."
Meanwhile in the World of Darkness...
Mitsuru slowly woken up sitting up looking around only to find herself at the area she remembers with large crosses holding some people she remembers with a man nearby laughing manically.
"This!" her eyes widened as she immediately met the crazed eyes of Shuji Ikutsuki.
"The time for the end has arrived! Now the Fall will commence!" the crazed man, Ikutsuki, called.
"Aigis stop!" Yukari's voice cried.
Looking over Mitsuru can see Aigis looking under Ikutsuki aiming her gun arms at them but unlike before Aigis isn't hesitating.
"Aigis!" Fuuka's voice cried as Minato just stared at her silently with an almost regretful look just as Aigis began firing her bullets.
Mitsuru watched in horror as Aigis lowered her guns as Ikutsuki started laughing more insanely from this while Mitsuru knelled down starting ahead only for the scene to replay.
Ulrich362: Well... that's definitely a bad thing. Only three chances left but the Shadows are likely going to oppose the group on Academy Island... and if that wasn't bad enough Mitsuru was defeated by Trueman.
bopdog111: And now Trueman is making her relive her most painful experience for her to break in the World of Darkness.
