A ponytail-wearing, lavender haired male was standing right next to his best friend, a black haired male. Both males were wearing a black trench coat with a fur-lined collar that was over an olive-green sweater, olive green pants with lighter-colored bandages around their shins, and brown colored laced boots. Both were also viewing something from mirror-like windows, the black haired male laughing at the lavender haired one. "Would you stop laughing already, Goten," questioned the lavender haired male.

"I can't help it," laughed out the black haired Goten, "Who would have thought that we would witness these counterparts of you today, Trunks!"

"Ugh," groaned out the lavender haired Trunks, "Exactly why did Pluto tell us to watch these?"

"Probably because they are so entertaining," teased Goten.

Trunks groaned out once more as Goten laughed at Trunks' expense. It was true that the two worked under Sailor Pluto, the Senshi AND Guardian of Space and Time as time patrol agents in this Xeno verse, yet they still couldn't really understand Pluto's motives about seeing into alternate universes… alternate dimensions… of themselves. They were just glad that Gohan, another time patrol agent, wasn't with them at this time. No way were the two going to tell Gohan that one of these timelines that Trunks and Goten were watching had Trunks dating his little daughter, Pan, of all peoples. "This was a bad way to gain entertainment," grumbled Trunks, "I mean, I get being with that Mai girl, but Pan?!"

"I know," laughed Goten, "It seems that little Pan wants a strong man like you as a boyfriend."

"Don't even joke about that," said Trunks with a glare, "Pan is still a brat. Also, she is also about the same age as my imōto!"

"I don't know what to tell you about that," said Goten.

"At least, the other Trunks got together with females their own age," said Trunks.

"Not with Hota-chan," pointed out Goten literally.

Trunks glared at where Goten was pointing at to see that Trunks was dating Hotaru while the one girl he REALLY wanted to be with was with that stupid reincarnated Earth Prince. He should really clarify with his own girlfriend that he was the better choice in princes. Even one of the timelines has him with Marron of all people, him not even knowing about the Sailor Senshi in that particular timeline! Goten grimaced when he also saw him with Marron in a different timeline where Trunks was dating Ami, otherwise known as Sailor Mercury. Trunks believed that Pluto was trying to hint to him about something. Yet, he didn't survive being a Time Patrol agent with Goten, Gohan, and his family just for Pluto to disrupt it for something. "You think Pluto is trying to tell me something," questioned Trunks.

"Like what," questioned Goten.

"I don't know," said Trunks, "Probably that all those girls the other Trunks are dating aren't my actual girlfriend?"

"Oh yeah," said Goten who now realized what was up.

"Yeah," said Trunks before sighing.

"Well," hesitated Goten.

"You know something," accused Trunks.

"Yeah," said Goten with slight guilt in his eyes, "You know all those girls that you are dating in those alternate universes?"

"Yeah," said Trunks with a questioning tone to it.

"Well," said Goten, "In our timeline, those same girls, except for Pan, have been flirting with you, even though you are with your girlfriend."

As Goten was given a perplexed look from Trunks, Trunks was about to refute it until he thought back to all of the times he was out with his girl or if he was hanging out with the entire gang. He wasn't too worried about the Outers making moves on him, but he definitely remembered that Minako, otherwise known as Sailor Venus, would flirt with him. Makoto, otherwise known as Sailor Jupiter, would give him edible food for him to eat, knowing that his girl wasn't that good in cooking. Even Ami and Rei, otherwise known as Sailor Mars, would do some kind of pass at him while his girl was present. Trunks even winced when he remembered what Mai almost did while he was on a date with his girl. "I… guess I was oblivious to it all," said Trunks.

"Nah, man," said Goten, "That's what happens when you already have the girl of your dreams."

"That was so cheesy, Goten," said Trunks with a chuckle.

"Demo, it's true," said Goten.

"So," said Trunks, "What do you think that Pluto is telling me specifically?"

Goten and Trunks paused as they started to think about what Pluto wanted them to see. Of course, there were the countless of timelines that Trunks have ended up with another girl. Those Trunks seemed pretty happy to the both of the males peering in. Trunks, however, noticed that those other Trunks seemed to settle with someone that their family may approve of. For example, he could see that the Trunks that was dating Mai had the approval of their mother. Though, to be fair… that Trunks' timeline was so eerily similar to his own, what with fighting the Androids and having Mai being one of the surviving girls that was close to his age. He, however, saw that there were no Senshi… there were no Goten… And! Above all else, there wasn't a hint of his girl in that timeline, for he knew that she would have done anything to make everything flow with life after the Androids were defeated like in his own. Goten, on his part, looked through the various timelines again before… "You think she saw these timelines when she was supposed to be studying the Kinmokian customs for the arrival of Princess Kakyū," questioned Goten.

"That's probably it," said Trunks before sighing, "Oh man! I bet she feels so down when she saw my various selves dating those other girls and not once was there for her."

"Yeah," said Goten, "You could pretty much tell that some of them DO have your girl in their universes, and she's pretty miserable with that Earth Prince."

"And some are dating either you or Gohan-san," said a pained Trunks.

"Well, at least, she's happy and knows that we love her," said Goten.

"What do you mean by that," questioned Trunks.

"Dude," said Goten, "You DO know that even though she and you have been dating for almost a year, you never ONCE said those three words all girlfriends want to hear."

Trunks paused at what Goten revealed before wincing. He could now see how his girl can doubt their love for one another. He always remembered that she would say it to her, yet not once did he reveal the same feelings. He would always say that he felt the same, yet he never said those three little words right back at her. Trunks dropped his shoulders down and sighed in depression. He didn't know what to do, but he knew that he had to reassure his girl somehow. "Trunks," questioned Goten.

"What am I going to do," questioned Trunks.

"You love her, don't you," questioned Goten.

"Of course I do," exclaimed Trunks.

"Then, why haven't you said those words yet," questioned Goten.

"I don't know," said Trunks, "Though, I'm going to rectify it."

"Good on you, dude," said Goten with a thumbs up.

"Yeah," said Trunks before sweat-dropping, "So, how do I tell Pluto that I want a day off?"

- A Week Later –

"Trunks, where are we going," questioned a blonde haired woman.

"It's a surprise, koi," said Trunks.

With the help of Goten, Trunks got a day off just to take out his girl for some relaxation and finally… FINALLY… tell her those three words. He knew that he was in love with his girlfriend, yet looking through the alternate timelines, he realized that he never once said those words to her. He also realized that Pluto had a hand in pushing Trunks on the right path to keep his girlfriend for the rest of his life. He knew that he didn't want her to go back to him after everything they have been through. Looking at his girlfriend, he couldn't help but smile at how beautiful she was. It wasn't long that he heard his girlfriend gasp in surprise by the blanket that was seated underneath a Sakura tree. "A picnic," questioned the woman.

"Hai, koi," said Trunks, "We haven't been in one in a while."

"Trunks," said the woman with full of love in her tone.

"Come on, koi," said Trunks, "I prepared your favorites."

"Hontō (Really)," questioned the woman.

"Hai," said Trunks with love in his eyes.

The woman squealed in happiness as she kissed Trunks on the lips before settling down on the picnic blanket. Trunks, in a daze, smiled at the woman before taking his seat next to her. Both had a good time with one another as they ate the food Trunks prepared. By the end of the picnic, Trunks had his back leaning against the tree with his girlfriend in his arms. Trunks could feel the woman slowly relaxing and falling asleep on him like a pillow. It wasn't long that Trunks leaned his head down so his lips was near his girlfriend's ear before… "Tsukino Usagi," whispered Trunks in her ear, "Aishiteru (I love you)."

"Aishiteru, Trunks-kun," said the now known Usagi in a murmur.

It didn't take long for Usagi's crystal blue eyes that Trunks loves the most shot opened with Usagi pulling away from him. Trunks had an amused smirk on his face, yet inside, he winced at her reaction. He now knew that yes, Pluto had ulterior motives when telling Trunks and Goten to view the alternative timelines to see if something was off about them. Trunks gently pulled Usagi back into his arms and rested his chin on her head. "Usa-koi, I'm sorry that I haven't said those words to you," said Trunks, "Demo, don't think that all this time I did not have the same feelings as you. I do have those love feelings like you do for me. I… am just not a sharing emotions kind of guy, especially on how I grew up."

"I know," said Usagi softly, "Yet, from time to time, a girl, especially me, would like to hear those three little words."

"I'll try," said Trunks, "Though, please be truthful."

"Truthful," questioned Usagi, "About what?"

"Well," said Trunks, "Were you doubting my love for you because you saw those alternative timelines with me and those other girls?"

"Eh," questioned Usagi, "Alternative timelines? What on Earth are you talking about?"

"You mean," said Trunks slowly, "You have never gone to where Pluto holds the windows to alternative timelines? Alternative universes?"

Trunks stared in disbelief when Usagi shook her head no as the answer to Trunks' question. Trunks growled inwardly and wondered just why Usagi was feeling down then. He really thought that Usagi viewed the alternate timelines, yet here she was… and NOT lying. He could tell whenever Usagi lied or not. "Then," said Trunks, "What have gotten you so down if it wasn't me saying those words to you?"

"Uh," said Usagi hesitantly, "You know about the Kinmokian meeting?"

"Hai," said Trunks slowly.

"Um,," said Usagi, "Please don't get mad, but they all decided for Kakyū to use a stand in, and instead of meeting with her, I will be meeting with Seiya."

"Seiya," growled Trunks questioningly, "The guy who has a crush on you since Galaxia?"

"Un," nodded Usagi.

"Well, you didn't have to be all down and hesitant around me, koi," said Trunks who had his arms tightening slightly around Usagi's waist, "Besides, I get to be in the meeting with you… as a guard of course."

"Of course," said Usagi with a laughing tone to her voice.

"Though, why were you down about that," questioned Trunks.

"I… thought you would get angry that it was Seiya who was going to greet me instead of the princess," said Usagi sheepishly, "That's why I was kind of preoccupied. I didn't know how to tell you about Seiya."

"I won't get angry," said Trunks defensively.

"Uh huh," said a skeptical Usagi with mirth in her eyes, "Sure you won't."

Trunks shifted his eyes slightly down, indicating that Usagi had the right to be skeptical. It wasn't Usagi's fault that Seiya has a crush on her while Usagi and Trunks just met during the Galaxia incident. He also knew that during all those years passed by and finally dating her for a year, Usagi was very much in love with him and with no one else. He, however, didn't appreciate that Usagi was teasing him on his ability to keep his jealousy in check. With Usagi still in his arms though, Trunks smirked deviously down at Usagi before tickling her sides, making Usagi gasped in laughter. "Trunks," laughed out Usagi.

"Then, don't doubt me," laughed Trunks as he didn't let up on him tickling his girlfriend.

"Fine, fine," laughed Usagi, "I give!"

"That's what I thought," said Trunks in triumph before pulling Usagi down for a kiss.

"Aishiteru," said Usagi.

"Aishiteru, Usagi," said Trunks, "And do not doubt about it for a second."

"I wouldn't because I trust you," said Usagi with a smile.

"I trust and love you too, koi," said Trunks.

"Now that that's over," said Usagi with curious eyes looking up at Trunks, "What's this about alternative timeliness and alternative universes?"

Trunks just groaned and cursed inwardly at Pluto for her ploy while Usagi still had curiosity shining in her eyes.
