=|=|=| Episode 7: The Engine From Hell |=|=|=

It was halloween night, places were decorated with halloween decorations. Kids were going from house to house getting candy from the people who lived there.

In the Lithernwick Railway, a certain driver worked there. Her engine was a modified GWR 2900 class. -Yep, you guessed it right. It's Kaitlyn. But her engine's livery wasn't the same as before. See, her engine's previous livery is only used in the locomotive hangout. She can't use that livery on the railway she worked in, so instead her engine was plain purple with white linings and the number 2074.

And by the way, the Lithernwick Railway got it's name from the sand that mostly covered the ground. In the place that the railway was in, lithernwick meant sand in it's ancient language.

Kaitlyn was telling a scary story to the others in the engine sheds right now.

"...and legend has it that the demon engine can attack anytime during the night. Who knows who his next victim might be? It could be you! Or you! Or even you!"

Some of the drivers and engines shuddered at the tale, but some didn't believe it.

"Rubbish! You made all that up! You're terrible at making scary stories."

"Oh, I don't really think it's made up. In fact, there are articles about the demon engine on the newspapers. Some have claimed to see it rush past the bridge during the night using it's scary whistle to scare others before disappearing into the distance."

"-I-I-I-I-I-I hope the demon engine dosen't c-c-c-come tonight!"

"You better hope. Hehehehe."

"Alright! Enough! We'll all have work to do soon, we don't have time for this nonsense!"

Kaitlyn was about to speak up, but then Mr. Seth who was basically the railway's boss came into the sheds. The door creaked as he walked in.

*...crrreeeeeaaaakkkk...*

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

As soon as the door opened, one of the engines screamed! The engine thought it was the demon engine. "WHAT THE HELL?!" another engine said, Kaitlyn then started laughing.

"-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

"-I... -IT'S NOT FUNNY KAITLYN!"

"-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Oh my god dude! You should've seen the look on your face! It's just Mr. Seth ya chicken."

"Hey, what's going on here?! Who the hell screamed so loud?!"

"It was Jason sir, he's a scaredy-cat. Heeheehee!"

"I'm not!"

"Alright alright. That's enough. I know it's halloween, but please don't scare each other so much. Now, here are all of your jobs."

After Mr. Seth gave everyone their jobs, he walked out of the sheds. "I-I-I-I-I-I don't wanna go out tonight! There's a demon engine out there!" said Jason, "Don't believe in those stories. Now come on, we have work to do." said Jason's driver.

Jason was to take a goodstrain, he was going to have to pass the bridge soon if he did. Soon, Jason backed down onto the trucks and was coupled to the train. When the guard blew his whistle, Jason puffed away.

Jason went slowly at first, he wanted to not cross the bridge as long as possible. But eventually, he got there.

Jason shivered when he went over the bridge and looked around nervously, he was worried that the demon engine might suddenly appear and try to do something to him. For a while... -everything seemed normal. -Then...

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

"-WH-WHAT WAS THAT?!" Jason asked his driver and fireman nervously. "It sounded like an engine. But that's weird. I don't remember any of the engines on this railway having that kind of whistle." the driver replied. "-H-HURRY PLEASE! -G-GET ME OUT OF HERE!" yelled Jason, "Jason, that story isn't real." Jason's driver replied. -But then...

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! -RRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-*

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

An engine came rushing towards Jason and his crew! Jason and his crew were expecting a crash, however... just as it looked like the engine was going to crash into them, -silence followed. There was no clanging of metal or anything like that.

When Jason, his driver and fireman open their eyes, they looked around. "-IT'S THE DEMON ENGINE!" yelled Jason, "-GET ME OUTTA HERE!" he added. His driver and fireman were now scared too, so they made Jason rush back towards the engine sheds. And the demon engine was already gone.

When Jason and his crew got back to the engine sheds, they saw Kaitlyn and a few others resting there. "Woah! Slow down! Why are you going backwards so fast?" Kaitlyn asked, "-IT'S THE DEMON ENGINE! -ME AND MY CREW SAW IT! -IT LOOKED RUSTED AND GLOWING SLIGHTLY AND OH IT WAS HORRIBLE! -AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-" Jason started yelling. But he was interrupted when Kaitlyn said "WOAH WOAH WOAH SLOW DOWN! So you're saying you SAW the demon engine?!". "-YES! -ME AND MY CREW SAW IT AT THE BRIDGE! -WE SHOULD TELL MR. SETH!" Jason screamed again.

Just then, Mr. Seth walked in the sheds at the perfect timing. The door creaked open again as he went through.

*...cccrrreeeeaaakkkkk...*

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"STOP SCREAMING! IT'S HURTING OUR EARS!"

"-SORRY KAITLYN! -BUT I'M SCARED!"

"HEY! WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING AGAIN JASON?!"

"S-Sorry Mr. Seth! -I-I-I-I-It's just that I-I-I-I-I-I s-s-s-saw th-th-th-the d-d-d-demon engine on the b-b-b-bridge! S-S-S-S-So I c-c-c-came back here w-w-w-with my trucks sir!"

"What?! A demon engine?! Nonsense! Someone must be playing a prank on you!"

"-N-No sir! The engine's whistle didn't sound like any engine's whistles here! Then, out of nowhere... -it came RIGHT FOR ME! But just as when it was about to crash into me, it suddenly disappeared! And there was no crash! That engine's face is HORRIFYING sir! I-It was like rotten flesh w-w-w-with r-r-red eyes!"

"Hmm... I shall go investigate this at once."

"Please don't sir! Who knows what could happen!"

"I'm pretty sure it was just some sort of joke or something like that."

"Heh, maybe Jason's just trying to be the scary one this halloween instead of being the scaredy one."

"I am not, Kaitlyn!"

"Alright, enough. I'll go and investigate."

"Please don't sir! Who knows what might happen to you!"

"I'm sorry Jason. But whatever's happening, I have to investigate. This is my railway after all."

*Slam!*

"Something might happen to Mr. Seth!"

"Oh come on, this is probably a big joke from you."

"It's not a joke Kaitlyn! I saw the demon engine with my own eyes! I-I-I-I-It was rusted! And it had a horrifying face! -And-"

"Oh come on dude, there's NO WAY the demon engine would just appear here right after I tell the story!"

"You gotta believe me!"

Meanwhile, Mr. Seth was riding in the cab of one of his engines. The engine's name was Sand Boa. Very fitting name since the Lithernwick Railway's got lots of sand. Sand Boa is brown with yellow linings and the number 2078. He was an 0-6-2 tank engine. And right now he was about to see if the demon engine really was there at the bridge.

"C'mon Sand Boa, we're almost there." said Mr. Seth, "I-I dunno sir, I'm kinda nervous about this." Sand Boa replied. "We have to investigate this, I won't let some demon engine or whatever terrorize the railway." Mr. Seth replied back.

When Mr. Seth, Sand Boa and Sand Boa's crew got to the bridge, they stopped. They looked around to see if the demon engine was around. They waited, and waited, and waited. But after a while, there was nothing.

"Huh. Nothing. I'm pretty sure this was just some sort of prank." said Mr. Seth, "Yeah, I think we should just go home." agreed Sand Boa. But then, just as Sand Boa started to back up...

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

"-WHAT WAS THAT?!" said Sand Boa's driver, "-I...-It sounded like an engine. But... I don't know an engine here that sounds like that." replied the fireman. "Whoever it is, they need to stop. It's not funny." said Mr. Seth. -But then...

*-CHUFF-CHUFF-CHUFF-CHUFF-CHUFF-CHUFF-CHUFF-CHUFF-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH-*

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The demon engine appeared from behind! Sand Boa, Mr. Seth and his crew all screamed in horror as they watched the engine rushing towards them! One moment, it seemed like the demon engine was going to crash into them! The next, it was gone!

Sand Boa, his crew and Mr. Seth kept on screaming and kept their eyes shut as they anticipated a crash. But after a while of screaming... -there was nothing. "-H-Huh?" said Sand Boa looking around, "WHAT WAS THAT?!" said the fireman. "-IT'S THE DEMON ENGINE! -IT IS REAL! -I SAW IT'S FACE! -IT WAS SO HORRIFYING! -LET'S GET OUTTA HERE!" yelled Sand Boa. Then, his driver made him get out of the bridge and rush back down the line as fast as he could!

Sand Boa raced back to the sheds as fast as he could! He didn't stop until he got there. When he got there, he panted and said "-Y-You were right Jason! There IS a demon engine!". "I told you!" said Jason. "Wait, THERE REALLY IS A DEMON ENGINE?!" said Kaitlyn, "-YES! NOW DO YOU BELIEVE ME?!" replied Jason. "-I-I think I do now!" Kaitlyn replied.

No one wanted to go to the bridge anymore, so the engines and their crews had to take alternate routes while the whole demon engine thing was being investigated.

Meanwhile... at the Silver Streak Railway, the railway where Mandy worked in... news of the demon engine had spread there. Some other railways had gotten word of it too, and the news about the demon engine was growing fast.

"A demon engine huh? That's something alright." said Mandy, "A-Aren't you scared?" said one of the drivers. "I don't believe in those kinds of things." Mandy replied. "-B-B-But..." the driver stuttered, but Mandy interrupted him with "Now if you'll excuse me, I have work to do." and started her engine.

Just like Kaitlyn's engine, Mandy's engine had a seperate livery for working on the railway. It was dark green with yellow linings and the number 2036 on the sides of it's cab.

When Mandy got to the platform, she made her engine back down on the coaches. The shunter fastened the coupling, and when the signal dropped the guard blew his whistle. Then, Mandy started off.

"A demon engine huh? That's weird. Oh well, I don't believe in that." said Mandy as she was cruising along the line. -But then...

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

"-H-HUH?! -WH-WHAT WAS THAT?!" said Mandy as she looked around nervously. The whistle didn't sound like any engine she knew.

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

The whistle echoed again. Mandy became nervous, "-I-I-I-I'm not staying out here for long!" she said as she made her engine go faster. But when she did, the whistle was just as loud as before!

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

"WH-WH-WH-WHO'S THERE?!" said Mandy as she looked around nervously again and made her engine go even faster!

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

The whistling seemed to be coming... from behind? Mandy looked back nervously. -Then...

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

-The demon engine APPEARED AND STARTED CHASING AFTER HER! Mandy made her engine go as fast as it could. "-AAAAAAAHHHHHHH GETAWAYGETAWAYGETAWAY-" yelled Mandy.

The demon engine ROARED again! Mandy then started screaming as she rushed down the line! "GO AWAY!" she yelled, but it was no use. The demon engine was still chasing her!

Mandy kept on screaming as the demon engine kept chasing her. Eventually, she was able to lose it. "Phew!" she said.

Mandy didn't go where she was supposed to go. Instead, she went near the sheds as fast as she could! She then uncoupled her train from her engine before going back in the sheds as fast as she could!

"MANDY! WHAT HAPPENED?!" someone said, "-YOU GUYS WERE RIGHT! THERE IS A DEMON ENGINE OUT THERE! IT CHASED ME! AND I CAME BACK HERE AS FAST AS I COULD!" Mandy yelled. She was still scared from the chase with the demon engine.

The other engines and drivers were nervous. Just then, Ms. Lily came along. She was the boss of the Silver Streak Railway. "What's going on here?" she said, "THE DEMON ENGINE'S HERE!" said Mandy. "The demon engine?! Don't be silly. It's just a story, you must've just seen things." said Ms. Lily, "B-B-But Ms. Lily it's true! It even CHASED ME! That's why I haven't taken my train to where it's supposed to be yet. And it's also why I got back in here." Mandy stuttered nervously.

"A demon engine huh? I'll go investigate this at once." said Ms. Lily, "-DON'T! -I SAW THE DEMON ENGINE MYSELF! IT WAS RUSTED AND HAD A DEMONIC ROTTING FACE! AND IT JUST CHASED ME TODAY!" said Mandy. "I'm sorry Mandy, but this is my railway. And when something goes wrong, I have to investigate." said Ms. Lily, then she added "Someone take me to Wurdwin Woods!".

Ms. Lily is a pale skinned woman with blonde hair that was kinda curly at the end. She had brown eyes and often wore a white blouse, a black skirt that you'd sometimes see being worn by secretaries, black flat shoes that looked like heels and glasses. She wore glasses because her vision wasn't that good.

Wurdwin Woods is where Mandy saw the demon engine, the r was silent in it's name. Soon, one of the drivers let Ms. Lily climb in the cab. Then, he took her to Wurdwin Woods.

As the driver crossed the woods, some sounds would scare him, the fireman and Ms. Lily. Like owls hooting, the creaking of some of the trees and sometimes the rustling of the leaves. At first, Ms. Lily didn't really believe in the demon engine story. But now she was getting scared too. "Calm down Lily, it's only a story. It's not real." she kept thinking to herself. But then...

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

"-AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! -WHAT WAS THAT?!" said Ms. Lily as she looked around nervously. It was the whistle of the demon engine, but she didn't know this. Well... not yet anyway.

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

The whistle echoed through the woods again! "-Wh-whoever you are, i-it's not funny! Stop this at once and show yourself!" said Ms. Lily. "I think we should go back, I don't think it's safe here." said the driver. "No, keep going. I want to investigate this." Ms. Lily persisted, so the driver did. Then...

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The demon engine appeared again! This time, it appeared right in front of the engine the driver was driving! "-STOP, -STTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPP!" said Ms. Lily.

The driver applied the brakes, luckily he was able to stop in time. But then he saw the demon engine UP CLOSE!

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! -GOBACKGOBACKGOBAAAAAACCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK!" yelled Ms. Lily as the driver reversed the engine as fast as he could! The demon engine roared again as it started chasing them!

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The demon engine managed to chase Ms. Lily, the driver, the fireman and the engine. But eventually, they managed to lose it. "-GOBACKGOBACKOGBACK TO THE SHEEEDSSS!" Ms. Lily yelled again as the driver did just that.

The driver drove his engine to the sheds as fast as he could. When he got there, Ms. Lily got down. Then, she said "You were right Mandy! There IS a demon engine!". "I TOLD YOU!" said Mandy.

"-Wh-what are we gonna do now? We can't cross the Wurdwin Woods anymore. What if someone needed to cross there? And the demon engine appeared again?!" one of the living engines said. "No one will be allowed to cross the Wurdwin Woods until this whole thing is taken care of." replied Ms. Lily.

Soon, the news of the demon engine reached The Leafy Line. Tim, Riptide, Sunshine, Rose and Rainwater were talking about it in the sheds.

"I-I-I-I hope the demon engine d-d-dosen't c-c-c-come tonight!" said Rose nervously, "Me too." agreed Sunshine. "I'm worried and scared about this whole thing." said Rainwater. "I hope the demon engine DOSEN'T come here!" said Tim, "Yeah." Riptide agreed nervously.

The news about the demon engine reached Mr. Fred's ears as well. He was worried that the demon engine might come to his railway and terrorize it like the others. "I hope the demon engine dosen't come here. That would be bad for the railway. And I don't want that to happen." Mr. Fred thought.

That night, Tim and Riptide had to take a goodstrain to the mine railway. When they backed down onto the train, the shunter fastened the coupling. And when the signal dropped, the guard blew his whistle. Tim made Riptide whistle back, as they set off into the night.

While they were running along the line, fog began to cover the surroundings. Everything looked scary. "I-I-I-I don't like how everything looks Tim! It all looks scary in the fog!" said Riptide nervously, "I'm scared too Riptide, but we have to deliver this train. Besides, the demon engine hasn't showed up. -Yet..." replied Tim as he and Riptide kept on going.

For a while, everything seemed to be going well. -Then...

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

"-H-HUH?! -WH-WH-WH-WHAT WAS THAT?!" said Riptide nervously, "I don't know. It dosen't sound like an engine we know." Tim replied as he made Riptide stop.

"-H...-Hello?" said Riptide as he and Tim looked around. There was nothing. "Tim, I think we should go back to the sheds as fast as we can! Maybe it's the d-d-d-demon engine!" added Riptide, "Yeah." Tim agreed.

But just as Tim was about to make Riptide go back...

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The demon engine appeared right in front of them! "-AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! -GOBACKGOBACKGOBAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKK!" yelled Riptide, "WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M TRYNA DO?!" said Tim as he and Riptide raced back down the line!

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Tim and Riptide raced all the way back to the engine sheds, they didn't stop until they got back there. When they got there, they saw Mr. Fred.

"-MR. FREEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!"

"-AAH! -TIM?! -RIPTIDE?! -WHAT IS IT?!"

"IT'S THE DEMON ENGINE SIR! WE SAW IT! AND IT CHASED US, BUT WE MANAGED TO ESCAPE!"

"-THE DEMON ENGINE?!"

Mr. Fred couldn't belive it! The demon engine had chased Tim and Riptide? There was NO WAY that happened. But... Tim and Riptide DID say it. And they REALLY DID look scared.

"YES!" said Riptide, "-WH-WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO?!" said Mr. Fred panicking. "I've got an idea." said Tim, "What?" asked Mr. Fred.

It took a while, but Tim managed to convince some of his friends to help him with idea. The plan was to go together in a group and find the demon engine. And if they find it, they would defeat it by splashing it with holy water and using crosses. Some of Tim and Riptide's friends also got some other things like rosaries.

"A-Alright, e-everyone r-r-r-ready?" said Tim, "-N-Not really!" said Rainwater. "C'mon Rainwater, we have to do this if we want the demon engine to go away from this railway. If we don't, he might keep haunting the railway!" said Lightningstreak, "Oh alright fine! But I'm kinda nervous about this..." Rainwater replied. "You're not the only one..." muttered Thunderstrike.

"C'mon, let's go." said Tim as he, Riptide, Mr. Fred and the others went to find the demon engine.

Tim and Riptide went looking in the mine railway. "It looks even creepier here." said Riptide nervously, "Everything looks creepier." replied Tim.

As Tim and Riptide went further and further into the mine railway, they heard a whistle.

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

"-THE DEMON ENGINE! -IT'S HERE!" yelled Riptide, "-SHH-SHH-SHH-SHHHHH! Quiet! Let's try if we can find it and sneak up on it." whispered Tim. And so he and Riptide did just that.

Slowly, they crept forward. They were scared, but they knew they had to do this if they wanted to get rid of the demon engine once and for all. -Then...

*-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The demon engine appeared right in front of them! Tim and Riptide screamed as they saw it. It sort of looked like a GWR 2900, but it wasn't. It was rusted all over and there were many holes in it's body. It's face was rotting and you could see the insides of it. And it's teeth were sharp, yellowish and dirty.

"-SPLASH IT!" yelled Riptide. Then, Tim splashed the demon with holy water!

*SPLASH!*

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The demon engine roared in pain before disappearing. "Hey, where'd it go?!" said Riptide. Then, the demon engine reappeared further down the line! It was rushing straight towards Tim and Riptide!

"-RUN AWAY!" yelled Riptide as Tim made him go backwards as fast as he could! Then, Tim sent messages to his friends using his phone.

When Tim and Riptide's friends got the messages, they rushed to where they were! Meanwhile, Tim and Riptide were still racing backwards as fast as they could.

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Soon, Tim and Riptide were approaching a tunnel fast. Tim shovelled as much coal as possible inside Riptide's firebox, making Riptide speed up even more. They managed to lose the demon engine inside the tunnel. Then, they used some points fast to go forwards through the other tunnel.

When the demon engine came out of the other tunnel, it looked for Tim and Riptide. But they were nowhere to be seen.

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

The demon engine roared in anger, it was about to continue it's search for Tim and Riptide but then...

*Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash!*

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"The power of Christ compels you. The power of Christ compels you. The power of Christ compels you. The power of Christ compels you. The power of Christ compels you."

Soon, Tim, Riptide and their friends came out of nowhere and started splashing the demon engine with holy water. The drivers and firemen held crosses up. And they along with Mr. Fred, Tim, Riptide and the other engines kept on saying "The power of Christ compels you.".

"The power of Christ compels you. The power of Christ compels you. The power of Christ compels you. The power of Christ compels you. The power of Christ compels you."

*Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash! Splash!*

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Soon, evryone's chanting got louder and louder as some of them kept holding crosses up. They kept on splashing the demon engine with holy water. Finally, the demon engine couldn't take it anymore and vanished into red smoke.

"The power of Christ compels you. The power of Christ compels you. THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU! -THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!"

*-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-SPLASH-*

"-RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Before the demon engine vanished, it went CRAZY! It started to make weird demonic noises and screeches. It shouted and roared everywhere. Finally, as it was dying... -it vanished into red smoke.

Tim, Riptide and the others couldn't believe what they had just seen. -Or did. They saw a demon engine and they managed to stop it.

"-ALRIGHT! THAT DEMON ENGINE IS FINALLY GONE, THE RAILWAY WILL BE SAFE NOW!" yelled Cremini, "HOOOOOOOOORAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" everyone yelled.

"Alright! We just stopped a demon engine!" said Tim, "Yeah! He won't be bothering us again." said Riptide. "Finally, everything's back to normal." said Sunshine with relief.

"Let's tell everyone about what we did!" said Thunderstrike, "Yeah!" agreed Cremini.

Soon, people congratulated Tim, Riptide and their friends. As a reward, the people were given lots of money. While the engines were promised that they would have their parts upgraded so that they'd be able to do their jobs better. "Well Tim, money's better than candy." said Riptide, "Yeah. 'Cuz with money you can buy candy!" Tim joked as he and Riptide kept on laughing.

"Well, this halloween was something." said Lightningstreak, "Indeed." agreed Sunshine.

And for the rest of the night, everyone had a wonderful halloween celebration. And Lightningstreak was right, this halloween was something indeed.
