Rainbow
This girl I see in class is always sitting by herself. She always looks like she is in deep pain and sorrow. She has no friends with her ever. She always seem like she carries a burden of pain, anger, sadness, and tears in her heart. Every morning she looked as if she cried an ocean of tears. Her eyes would be as red as pure blood. All those bruises and cuts on her body, makes me feel so sad for her. But I wonder? Who could've done such terrible marks upon her body? The answer of who could have done such horrible things was her parents. Two people who are suppose to love and care for her did such horrible things to her. Her parents are so mysterious. Not one child's parents in our class knows of those two. They seem to only appears in the dark night. Both the mom and dad seem to have been possessed by the devil. They seem rather cruel and rude to other people. It seems as if they took drugs. Whenever they do appear to certain conferences or meetings, they have a certain, odd aura to them.
The next day, my class went on a field trip to the beach. I decided to gather up my courage and decided to sit net to her on the bus and talk to her. "Hi, my name is Kairi. What's yours?" I said. She spoke in a shivering, trembling, and rather cold voice. "My n-name is R-Rainbow. We then started talking. I decided to talk first about my family. But just when we were going to talk about her family, we made it to the beach. My friends and I went to play in the water, while Rainbow sat and watched us. When we were about to leave, Rainbow was gone, no where in sight. Everyone searched everywhere but couldn't find her. We then decided to leave, thinking she might have taken the bus, and was about to drive away. I saw Rainbow on the side of the shore. She turned and smile at me. "I am thankful for your kindness, Kairi. You are a great friend to me but I am ending my life today. You're a great person, don't change ever. Good-bye." I heard that through my head. I didn't even see Rainbow's lips move at all. The teachers was able to catch a glimpse of Rainbow before she drowned herself. She tells the driver to open the door. But it was stuck. But when we were finally got out, to rescue Rainbow, it was too late for us. Rainbow drowned herself too deep for a long time that now she's dead. My tears kept endlessly coming. It was her parents who brought her so much pain, that she would of done something like this. This day was a tragic day. I always remember to visit her. Rainbow didn't know that, that day was a special day to me. The day was my birthday. April the 16th. And indeed it was also the day of my parents' death. They also died on the day of the field trip. A rainy evening and coming back home from home, their car slipped and that's who the accident went. I had to live with my relatives after the accident. It always seem like Rainbow was always there with me. It felt like she was always by my side through the years. She was a special friend to me that I can't ever forget.
