Crashing Waves

She leaned out. Mesmerized by the crashing of waves beneath the dock, she was standing on.
Everyone had died. The light had won...But everybody died anyway... even the final hero.
The world, to her, right now is a barren wasteland, there was no more reason to live, all she had cared for was lost.
She wanted so much to be with the waves. They look so happy crashing into each other. She felt that if in some way she could join them, maybe she'd feel their joy.
Smiling dazedly, she climbed the railing and went over to the other side. With only her hands gripping the edge she leaned out, inhaling the salty air.
"I'm coming!" she whispered, giddily.
A young man with striking platinum blond hair was running towards the the falling figure. He leaned over and tried to catch her, but she already plunged into the water..
Without a moment's hesitation, he dove in after her.
She stared at her blue surrounding, smiling. She exhaled her last breath and closed her eyes. She let the waves toss her around, play with her.
Heaven, this was everything she wanted.
A peaceful smile claimed her lips as she lost her conciousness altogether. The waves dragged her down and hit her head hard at the jagged stones beneath the sea. Crimson blood mixing magnificently with the water.
He rose to the surface gasping for breath, he dived again and continued his search. He found her at the bottom, her limbs sprawled out at odd angles, blood flowing from her head. Her brown locks flying around her like a halo.
His angel.
He dove towards her, cradling her limp form. He shook his head. Air bubbles escaping from his mouth. He hugged her tight and kissed her smiling lips.
He was sorry she never got to know his true feelings. He hugged her tighter. Determined not to let go.

A/N: lame huh??? anyway got that idea again from tithe and when i was invited to a party held on the boardwalk at Manila bay. it was really stormy and i spent all of the time. looking at the crashing waves...
i guess You guys didn't like euthanasia that much huh??
